00:00 Hi everyone! Welcome to today's video. So today's video is going to be on this makeup look I have here.
00:08 Basically I used quite a few Kiko shadows. I've been absolutely loving Kiko shadows at the minute.
00:14 So let's do an eye look just using Kiko shadows. Okay, I used one, two other little... I think I used just this one, the Catrice one as well.
00:24 But mainly Kiko's shadows. So yeah, and I also am trying out the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation.
00:33 So I have that on now so you can hear my verdicts of this foundation at the end.

00:45 Morning! Okay, so yes, today I am gonna... I have no idea where I'm going with this look.
00:51 So clearly you do because you've just seen the clip that I'm gonna film at the end of the video. So yes.
00:57 So today I'm gonna use some new products. Well, a couple of new things to you that you've not seen me use before.
01:03 And then there's I think one new thing that I've not used before which is this. This is the Rimmel Match Perfection.
01:11 This is the Kiko Matte Base Correct Primer. Correction Primer. Matte Base Correction Primer.
01:18 So yeah, it comes in a little tube like this. It's really weird. Oh my god! Did you just see that?
01:26 It flew out onto my arm! It is so thick. It's ridiculous. It is so, so thick.
01:33 So this is what it looks like. And it dries pretty instantly. So I need to work pretty quick with this.
01:40 So I'm just gonna put it on my nose. This is where I definitely get oily.
01:44 I'm just gonna put it on places where I know I get oily. I get oily on my chin and basically my T-zone.
01:52 So my head, down my nose and all the way down.
01:56 Okay, so I'm gonna go in with the foundation. I have this in 100 Ivory which I think might be a little bit too light for me at the minute.
02:04 I'm unsure. We will see. And I'm gonna use a damp beauty blender.
02:11 So let's go. Let's go with this foundation. Oh, it does have a pump on it. Brilliant.
02:17 It's very watery. Let's get this hair out the way.
02:22 I like how thin it is because I like foundations that are thin. I can really blend out.
02:32 The colour looks okay as well. It smells a bit funny.

02:48 Next, the concealer. I've been loving these two concealers by Catrice. They're liquid camouflage, high coverage concealers.
02:56 Absolutely loving these. So I'm gonna go in with 020 Light Beige to start with.

03:16 Before I put on the lighter shade, which I usually do next, I'm gonna do my eye makeup because there might be a bit of fallout.
03:24 So I'm gonna do that next, my eye makeup. So I need to set my lids.
03:31 I'm gonna use the L'Oreal Infallible Matte Powder just to set the lids.
03:38 Before I go in with a colour, I'm just gonna do my brows really quickly.
03:41 I'm gonna use the Essence, what is this, Eyebrow Stylist Set. Same, same old, same old.

03:54 Now my eyebrows are just maintained. I'm gonna go in with this little colour here, which is called Beauty in the Beige.
04:02 This is from the Catrice line and this is just gonna be like a base for my eyes.
04:10 So I'm just gonna put this from lid to brow.

04:16 What I'm gonna use today are these Kiko shadows. So I have a lot of the, these are the, I can't remember what range these are,
04:24 but you know when you can buy them in their just like individual form.
04:29 So I have them here, some in there, and I have the little Kiko compact and I have all like my highlight ones.
04:38 So anyway, I need to go back and get the bigger palette to put all these ones in.
04:44 Yeah, so what I'm gonna go in with first is this bright orange Kiko shadow.
04:49 I know it looks scary, but it's really good and it really does sit well.
04:55 I need a fluffy brush. I'm gonna go in with this fluffy brush here and yeah, I'm gonna just put this in the crease.

05:13 Once I am done with this, I didn't tell you the number, it's 207.
05:17 Next I'm gonna go in with this color here and this is 234.
05:23 So I'm gonna just take it on the outer part of my lid.

05:32 And then I'm gonna sort of miss the middle and then go straight into the inner corner.
05:36 [Music]
05:42 So it'll look like color, no color, color.
05:47 Now I'm gonna go back in with a little bit of the orange on the end of the brush and just blend that out so it'll stay in the crease again.

05:56 And just blend that through.
05:58 Next I'm gonna go in with this gold Kiko shadow. This is 257.
06:04 I'm gonna take that on a really small brush and I'm gonna place that in the center of the lids where I didn't put any of the other color.

06:24 So I'm gonna build the intensity now of this color and this color.
06:29 Just go back and forth and build the intensity of it using this color to blend everything out above it.

07:00 This is concealing. Before I start on my lower lash line, I'm gonna conceal all of that concealed under here.

07:25 Now I'm gonna go back in and set my under eyes with the L'Oreal Infallible Powder.

07:37 The face I pulled when setting my under eye concealer. Crazy.
07:41 I'm just gonna set my entire face now as well.

07:48 Okay, lower lash line.
07:51 So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take the orange shadow on a pencil brush and I'm gonna take the orange shadow all the way across the lower lash line.

08:03 That one. Then I'm gonna take this color and I'm gonna concentrate this on the outer portion of my lower lash line.

08:17 Next I'm gonna take the gold and I'm gonna concentrate this in the center and then into the inner corner of the lower lash line.

08:31 Once that is all done, what I like to do is I like to take my powder and a flat, like big, flat fluffy brush and just clean up any fallout or anything that you may not be happy with.
08:43 And this is the time where you can really crisp up that line.

08:53 We're nearly finished with the eyes now. I'm just gonna add a little bit of highlight.
08:57 Find a brush to highlight there.
08:59 Just under the lower, just onto the brow bone.
09:05 I'm gonna use one of these Kiko shadows, I don't know which one.
09:08 I think I'm gonna use the pinker one, this one.

09:17 I'm also gonna do an inner corner highlight with the same thing.

09:30 And then I'm gonna take the brush that we had the orange shadow on and just make sure, just blend and make sure that there is no harsh lines.

09:40 Now I'm gonna do eyeliner and everybody knows I hate doing eyeliner.
09:44 What I'm gonna use is this new Kiko Deep Black Eye Marker.
09:50 I'm gonna use this as a eyeliner on the top and then I'm gonna put this Kiko Everlasting Kajol Liner in my waterline.
10:01 So, wish me luck when it comes to this.
10:04 Don't expect brilliance because there is just no brilliance. It's quite thick.
10:10 Oh my god, let's zoom you in.

10:28 So my verdict on this Deep Black Eye Marker is it's very, very difficult to do because it's such a thick tip.
10:38 They really don't have much control and to try and get a really thin line, it's just not gonna happen.
10:44 So you do end up getting quite a thick line.
10:47 If you like a thick line and you've got a precision hand, is that right?
10:52 Precise hand, you will like this.
10:55 The Everlasting Kajol Liner went on just exactly like a Kajol eyeliner.
11:02 So, yes.
11:03 For bronzer, I'm a bit unsure which bronzer to use today. I have two.
11:07 I bought the Essence Gorgeous Glow Face Palette.
11:11 This was a limited edition palette a while back and I started using the bronzer in here but my favourite thing is the blusher in here.
11:20 I didn't like that at first. I remember the review I did of that and I really didn't like that.
11:24 And then from another palette, another bronzer, this is from the Catrice Travel Set and I really have been enjoying this bronzer in here.
11:33 So it's a toss-up between the two, I'm unsure. Let's see which is the...
11:38 Oh my god, they're pretty much the same bloody colour.
11:42 Let's do this.
11:44 I mean, how close in colour are them two?
11:46 So, yaw.
11:48 I think I'll do the Catrice one.
11:50 Why not?
11:51 Let's give that a go again.

12:10 So that's bronzing done. I'm not going to contour. I think the bronzing, I'm just going to leave it there.
12:16 The trick that you can do if you do want to contour is just get a, I think this is a highlighter brush, and then your normal powder.
12:25 Really load it up.
12:27 And then you can sort of place it underneath where your contour would usually be.
12:36 So you're just sharpening off that line.
12:43 And it sort of gives you a little bit more dimension.
12:47 So that's what you can do if you really want a contour without getting contouring powder out and everything.
12:54 Next blusher, I'm going to use this one by Kiko. This is new. This is their Double Disco Blusher in 02.
13:01 It's new to me, it's not new to Kiko. It's like beginning of the summer range.
13:06 Use a small powder blush brush. It looks just like this. So cute.

13:26 There we go. What's next? Highlight.
13:31 For highlight, the one I have actually been loving is also in this palette.
13:36 This is a limited edition palette, so I'm sorry if you can't get it. But I'm sure you can get it on eBay.
13:40 And it's this highlight here. It's very gold. And yeah, I've really been enjoying that.
13:47 I'm just going to put it at the top of my cheekbones to give the highlight.
13:55 I'm also going to highlight down the bridge of my nose, my cupid bow, and a little bit on my chin.
14:05 Highlight done. Next I'm going to move on to mascara.
14:09 So next is mascara, and I actually have a new one. This is a new range by the brand DM.
14:15 DM is that my drugstore, and they brought out their own range of nail varnishes, lipsticks, eyeliners, lip liners, and mascaras.
14:27 So anyway, this is the first one I've got by them. They just launched last week.
14:31 So yes, I will be trying out all their stuff. I'm pretty sure about that.
14:36 But yeah, this is their Adorable Mascara, false lash mascara. Adorable, Adorable False Lash Mascara.
14:48 So I'll give this one a try.
14:51 How annoying is that when your eyelashes stick together?
15:05 So my verdict on this is that it really can't build because it's just really stuck my eyelashes together.
15:11 So I'm going to go in with the Essence Long Lash Volume and Length Mascara.
15:16 And I like this mascara because it has such a small little wand, and it can really separate the lashes.
15:23 So let's see if it actually can separate these lashes.
15:28 Ah, there we go.
15:33 Okay, so I'm not loving that mascara, but it wasn't expensive. I think it was like €3 or something, so that's fine.
15:41 Next, I'm going on to lips. I'm going to use this Satin Mauve Lip Liner by Essence.
15:50 I pull some right at my faces when I'm doing my lips.
15:57 Next, I'm going to go in with this Beautifying Lip Smoother by Catrice in the color Coffee To Go.
16:08 Yeah, and I don't think I'm going to do anything else with the lips.
16:19 No.
16:21 So, this is it for this look. I'm all done, and I really like it.
16:27 The only things I've been a bit disappointed with are the Trend It Up mascara.
16:35 I just thought it really clumped up when I applied a second or third coat.
16:40 So if you like one coat, then this is probably for you, but I like many coats, and yeah, I was not feeling this.
16:48 The other thing that I wasn't feeling, where is it, is, oh, this one, the Kiko Deep Black Eye Marker.
16:56 I just didn't feel like it was easy to apply, and I know I'm not the best at doing eyeliner, and I will hold my hands up and say that,
17:04 but this just didn't make it any easier, and I like products that make a job that I find hard easy, so I just wasn't very impressed with this.
17:15 But everything else overall I was really impressed with.
17:18 The one thing that I've been super, super impressed with is this, the Rimmel, what is it, Perfection, Rimmel Match Perfection foundation.
17:29 I think that's what it's called.
17:30 This is the first time I've used it. It applied really nice, and looking at my skin now, I really like it.
17:36 Obviously, this is just, what, half an hour after I've applied it or something, so I can't give a full on yes, I love it,
17:44 and it sat amazing all day, but just from the way it applied and the way it's took my powder and everything else on top of it,
17:52 I really like it up to now, so I'm impressed with that up to now.
17:57 So, yeah, everything else I really enjoyed using, all my new things, and yes, I hope you enjoyed watching.
