Zeke dies in Manifest season 4?
Matt Long was almost unable to appear in the final season in a series regular capacity due to another series, but it all worked out eventually allowing him to return as Zeke in the final season of Manifest.
Zeke and Michaela are one of the fan-favorite couples on the show...unless you send Michaela with Jared. But fans love to see Zeke and Michaela's marriage evolve, and there's been a lot of evolution in Season 4 after the cliffhanger they left behind in Season 3.
As with most seasons of Manifesto, the first half of Season 4 continued to put our favorite characters in jeopardy, and no one finds themselves in dangerous settings as often as Zeke. Remember when he almost froze to death?
But does Zeke really die in Manifest?
Does Zeke die in Manifesto season 4 part 1?
At the start of the season, Zeke seems to be in a good position. He and Michaela worked out his problems and he helps the Stone family while he also works as a counselor. However, as he continues to suffer more and more for others, his powers seem to fail.
Zeke continues to fight despite the pain of his powers, but in season 4 episode 8, he is shot in the leg during a fight with Angelina's father, Kenneth, who turns out to be the killer in series 828. Fortunately, Zeke does not die from the shot
In the season 4 finale, part 1, Cal's health fails. He only has a few hours to live while his family tries to find the Omega Sapphire in the hope that he can save it. Unfortunately, Zeke realizes that he can take all of Cal's pain and sacrifice himself to make sure Cal survives and helps save the world from Death Date.
As he takes in Cal's grief, Zeke calls out to Michaela and tearfully says goodbye to her one last time. It's a deeply moving and devastating sequence as Michaela rushes home to find Zeke taking his last breaths to tell him that he'll see her again under the stars. She sobs and holds him in his arms, lifeless at Cal's bedside. Ben and Olive watch Cal come back to life.
For all intents and purposes, Zeke dies in Manifesto season 4 part 1. He got over his death date the first time, but can he get over that in part 2? The answer to that question remains to be seen, but we selfishly hope Zeke saves himself somehow.
