00:08 This quick routine will keep them guessing

00:12 After I come out of the shower,
00:14 I'll start off by towel drying my hair
00:16 and brushing it through.
00:17 Then to avoid damaging my hair when drying,
00:19 I add a heat defense spray all over.
00:21 Taking Tresemme's Volume Mousse,
00:24 I shake the bottle, squish out the foam,
00:25 and rub it into my roots.

00:30 Taking my hair dryer,
00:31 I start by drying the ends of my hair.
00:33 Once nearly completely dry,
00:34 I tip my head upside down
00:36 and start drying from the roots.
00:38 I then brush through again,
00:41 making sure there are no knots.
00:43 Then brush all my hair,
00:44 part my fringe to the back,
00:45 and begin teasing my roots.
00:47 This will make it easier to do the ponytail.
00:49 I backcomb a little all over
00:51 and then add a tiny amount of hairspray.
00:53 Then taking a hair tie,
00:55 I round up all my hair
00:56 and secure in a loose ponytail.
00:58 I like mine to be a little bit more messy,
01:04 so then I try to loosen the ponytail a little more
01:06 and then mess around with it until I'm happy.
01:09 Once that's done,
01:10 I pin back my fringe and move on to makeup.
01:12 Blending brushes are your best friends
01:14 when you're pushed for time,
01:15 so I start off by putting a light foundation
01:17 on my blending brush
01:18 and blending it out all over my face.
01:20 Moving on to concealer,
01:25 I draw triangles on my eyes,
01:27 under my nose,
01:28 and any other general red areas
01:29 and then blend it out.
01:30 To lock all that into place,
01:37 I use a powder with a big brush all over my face.
01:40 I then use a detail powder brush under my eyes.
01:46 This will help your base stay on all day.
01:49 Moving on to brows,
01:49 brush them out and then start filling them in lightly.
01:52 Brows shape your face,
01:53 and because this is a minimal makeup tutorial,
01:55 we need to make sure they look good.
01:57 So slowly build up your brows until they're bold
01:59 but not overdone.
02:00 Bushy brows are youthful.
02:02 Telltale draw on ones aren't.
02:05 To make these look even more texturized,
02:06 I use a clear mascara to emphasize the hairs.
02:09 Then grabbing some eyelash curlers,
02:12 I begin to curl my lashes for a couple of seconds.
02:16 After, I grab my bag girl lashes mascara
02:18 and build it up slowly.
02:19 I find this mascara particularly good
02:21 for natural looking lashes
02:22 as it doesn't clump at all,
02:23 which means you can build them up to your heart's content.
02:26 Finally, we want to add a little bit of color
02:29 and a little bit of face definition.
02:31 So I then add a small amount of bronzer to my cheekbones
02:34 and around my face and forehead.
02:36 This will define your cheekbones
02:38 and make your forehead appear smaller.
02:40 Then to make it look even more natural,
02:41 again, I blend it out.
02:43 This isn't necessary,
02:48 but I always lightly contour my nose with a tiny brush
02:51 as I feel it really completes a look.
