00:00 Hi everyone, so today I'm going to be getting ready for a Christmas party.
00:15 I'm going to be doing my hair and makeup exactly as you can see.
00:19 This makeup look is something that I have been using like the whole time for the past
00:22 couple of months.
00:23 It's my go-to makeup day and night, but I do also think it's perfect for a Christmas
00:28 party.
00:29 And also my hair, you guys have requested this hair tutorial for a very long time, so

00:37 So first of all I'm going to be blow drying my hair.
00:40 Now I've never been very good at blow drying, I just find it an impossible job.
00:44 With one hand with a hair dryer, one hand with a brush, I just get in such a muddle,
00:48 it's so hard.
00:49 But today I'm going to be using the Remington Keratin Pro Volume Styler and honestly this
00:54 is so easy to use, even for me who can't blow dry hair.
00:57 I've washed my hair about an hour ago, so I've left it to dry a bit and it just makes
01:02 it so much easier because you don't get the wet bits still in the hair.
01:05 So I would definitely advise kind of half drying your hair.
01:08 And we're just going to spray in a bit of heat protector spray.
01:11 And then I'm just separating my hair and I'm going to start on the bottom layer first.
01:15 I'm going to explain what I'm going to do with this first because it is a hair dryer
01:18 and you will not hear a word I say if I explain it while I'm doing it.
01:22 So like I said, it's a hair dryer and a brush in one.
01:25 And you turn it on and it heats up really, really quickly so you can almost use it immediately.
01:30 And it just glides over the hair and then you can rotate it when it's on and it basically
01:34 just gives you a blow dry just by you not doing anything basically.
01:39 And it just creates a really nice curl.
01:41 I'm using the bigger attachment so it will be a really subtle curl, just really bouncy
01:45 and mainly just gives you loads of volume.
01:47 So there's that one.
02:03 And then you just repeat it until all of your hair is dry basically.
02:22 So now that my hair is totally dry, I'm going to plait my hair either side like that and
02:27 then all the way down.
02:28 I wore this in a video about a month ago and you guys asked for me to do a tutorial so
02:32 here we go.
02:33 So what you want to do is get three small pieces of hair at the very top and you're
02:36 going to French braid down here and then when you get to there, just continue as a normal
02:40 plait.
02:41 So you just start braiding and then you just take small amounts of hair to add to each
02:46 piece.
03:11 And then when you get to the end, spray some hairspray right at the bottom and then back
03:16 home so that it stays and then you don't need a hairband.
03:18 Louise taught me this trick and it does work so well.
03:25 And then you're going to do the exact same thing on the other side.
03:28 So that's the hair totally done and I'm now going to move on to my makeup.
