00:00 it's fair to say that on location filming in Los Angeles is really grinding to a halt. Last week
00:05 there were in terms of on location filming permits uh they were down 63 percent compared to the same
00:12 time last week, last year rather, and we're really going to start seeing some impacts on the tv and
00:17 film industry very very soon. Let me just give you some examples of productions that have already
00:22 been affected by this writer's strike. The Batman part two that's been delayed to 2024. Hugely
00:27 popular shows like uh Euphoria season three, season two of The Last of Us, they've been
00:32 delayed to 2025. We've got season 20 of Grey's Anatomy, that's been uh that's the writers of us
00:39 have said that that show will not be going to air until later this year and will probably be shorter
00:44 than usual seasons. And of course another hugely popular show we've got Stranger Things on Netflix,
00:50 that production has been delayed as well. We've already of course had a very significant impact
00:55 on late night comedy shows here in the United States. Big shows like The Daily Show, The Late
00:59 Show with Stephen Colbert, they've been airing reruns for the past month. So in total right now
01:04 we've already had more than 50 tv or film productions that have already been impacted
01:09 by the strike and of course the longer the strike goes on the more we can expect to add to that list
