00:00 Hi guys, today we are going to do a video on first aid makeup.
00:04 I'm pretty sure there's a million and one out there, but I'm going to set out my own.
00:10 So I'm going to go straight into the tutorial.
00:14 So basically, I think it's best if you use a serum.
00:18 So a serum, what a serum does, it penetrates through your skin and if you have really dry
00:22 skin then I'd like to advise you guys to wear a moisturiser.
00:27 Now a moisturiser sits on top of the skin and constantly moisturises the skin while
00:31 the serum penetrates through your skin and that's how it goes.
00:36 So let us begin the tutorial.
00:39 What I'm going to first start off with is my Dior lip balm and it's just a really nice
00:45 sheer lip balm, doesn't have much of a tint to it, it's just nice.
00:50 And this thing moisturises your lips so much.
00:58 Maybe it does provide you with a tint of colour, which I'm not a big fan of, but yeah, you
01:04 kind of don't get to see it throughout the whole entire day.
01:07 So that's that and this is the Lip Glow Colour Renewal Balm.
01:12 So that's that.
01:15 Next you're going to be applying a concealer because I suggest that you don't go with foundation
01:20 on the day because it's risky.
01:24 If you have things to cover up then use a concealer.
01:26 This is the Fit Me by Maybelline and this is my favourite concealer.
01:29 If I want a go-to look I always use this and the mascara I'm going to show you guys, but
01:34 I'll show you guys later.
01:37 So I grab the concealer, apply it underneath my eyes and in areas where I feel like I need
01:46 it.
01:47 And obviously I'm going to put it on bits and bobs, blemishes that I have as well.
01:50 If your face looks like this, that means you need to blend.
01:54 So you just keep blending, blending, blending until your face looks flowerless.
02:02 And by flowerless I mean flowers.
02:04 And I'm just using my Eco Tools brush, this is the complexion blending brush.
02:09 It comes in a kit and I love it so much.
02:13 It's pretty much one of, it's softer than the Real Technique brushes, dare I say.
02:19 I just look really weird with the dots underneath my eyes.
02:25 Okay, let's do this.
02:29 So next that you've concealed every imperfection you want to conceal, then it's time for the
02:36 eyes again.
02:37 And then, well if you think this concealer is going to crease, and you have tried it
02:42 and it creases, it's the perfect concealer though.
02:45 So I recommend that you powder on top of it.
02:48 If you would like to, I don't feel like I need to.

02:53 Anyways, so I use the Painterly, not Painterly, Soft Ochre.
02:58 So if you have more of a yellowy kind of skin tone, then Soft Ochre is perfect for you.

03:08 And it looks like a concealer basically.
03:11 But for yellow skin tone people.
03:16 And I'm doing this all via the you finder.
03:19 I can't even speak.
03:21 And yes I've got eyelash extensions on for the people that will ask.
03:28 So then I'll stick on to eyes.
03:30 I'm going to be using my Revolution Mattes palette and this hasn't been hyped about that
03:35 much but it's the Redemption Palette Essential Mattes.
03:38 Basically all our mattes.
03:41 Life is great.
03:43 It's a really nice palette.
03:44 And I'm just going to be grabbing my Real Techniques Duo Fiber Eye Brush and going in
03:52 with a natural-ish kind of eye in the socket colour which is going to be that.
03:59 And just kind of put it through.
04:02 If you want to add colour to this, go ahead.
04:04 But it's more like a no-makeup makeup look kind of thing.
04:10 It's just enhancing your own features.
04:12 Like obviously you can go crazy with mascara.
04:15 It's really up to you but this is the way I would interpret my first day of makeup.
04:23 Just gives it a nice kind of crease colour, soft, more perfect look.
04:29 Then I'm just going to go with this colour right here underneath the brow.
04:34 And then as you can tell also in the palette, there's about two shades that can be used
04:40 for the face as well which is these two.
04:43 You've got a pinky kind of salmon colour and you've got an orangey colour.
04:49 So orange is great for redness and pinky is great for something else.
04:54 I can't remember what.
04:56 I'm sorry.
04:57 I should know this but what you gonna do.
05:02 And still sticking onto eyes, I'm going to use my Nats Origin mascara just to the top
05:07 lashes to give it a bit more oomph.
05:10 My lash extensions can't exactly take that so I'm just going to apply the thinnest layer
05:16 in the world.
05:18 So that's that.
05:19 This mascara is one amazing, amazing mascara.
05:22 It's by far my favourite and it's in black.
05:24 It comes in blue, purple and green.
05:29 I think purple but I want to get them all.
05:32 Gotta catch them all.
05:34 Pokemon.
05:35 So I want to give myself a bit of a flush and that flush is going to come from my Fashionista
05:40 palette that I've created by this one in Butterscotch.
05:44 This colour is lovely.
05:46 So what I'm going to do is take my Sheer Kabuki brush from Eco Tools, just drag that along
05:52 my cheeks.
05:53 It's going to give me that nice pinky flush and then take the hair away.
06:00 This brush provides you with the best ever everything.
06:05 It's just, it blends everything so nicely and the shadows in this palette is amazing.
06:11 By the way this is Foxy, it's an eyeshadow.
06:15 This is Creme Café Au Lait.
06:19 This is an eyeshadow as well.
06:20 This is a bronzer in Barcelona.
06:23 It's a highlight.
06:25 Handy palette, you can just pop them out in an hour and it's for £4.50 I think each.
06:30 It's such a lovely bargain.
06:33 So if you want to add contour in this stage then let's add contour.
06:37 What I'm grabbing is my Duo Fibre Contour brush.
06:41 Just taking my Barry M palette which looks like Nars and it's got 12 grams of product.
06:48 Usually if you want a dupe for the Nars Laguna bronzer then you go for this.
06:53 This is the Natural Dazzle bronzer powder.
06:56 Literally, might as well just be a dupe.
06:59 So you kind of take it just gently.
07:03 Don't go too crazy, hence why we're using a Duo Fibre brush.
07:08 And you take it to the other side.
07:16 And I don't recommend that you go crazy with contouring, like I said.
07:21 Just kind of make it like a no makeup makeup look.
07:23 Sorry about that.
07:25 Last but not least, you can apply a lip colour.
07:30 Not a lip colour, a lip gloss.
07:32 So a lip gloss is just going to add a bit of something, make your lips look more voluptuous.
07:38 So yeah, going to put the Colour Sensational Shine Gloss.
07:42 And this is in Cashmere Rose 105.
07:45 Very sure you've seen a YouTuber speak about this.
07:47 I'm going to use this to line up the colour.
07:50 And also, it tastes yummy.
