यौन उत्पीड़न के खिलाफ आंदोलन पहलवान खिलाड़ियों का धरना भले ही दिल्ली पुलिस ने जबरन खत्म करा दिया हो, लेकिन आंदोलन थमा नहीं है। नए संसद भवन के उदघाटन के समय पहलवानों को खदेड़कर हिरासत में लेने की घटना से पूरे देश में ही नहीं दुनियाभर में गुस्से की लहर है। सरकार और कानून की बेरुखी से निराश होकर जैसे ही पहलवान खिलाड़ियों ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिताओं में जीते मैडल गंगा में बहाने का फैसला लिया तो खलबली मच गई। किसान नेता राकेश टिकैत ने उनको ऐसा न करने की अपील की और लड़ाई को जारी रखने का आह्वान किया। हालांकि, पहलवान मैडल लेकर हरिद्वार पहुंच ही गए और काफी भावुक क्षण आ गया। इसी बीच भारतीय किसान यूनियन के नेता नरेश टिकैत वहां पहुंचे और खिलाड़ियों को समझाया, जिसके बाद खिलाड़ियों ने मैडल नरेश टिकैत को सौंप दिए। नरेश टिकैत ने सरकार को पांच दिन का अल्टीमेटम दिया है कि आरोपी भाजपा सांसद बृजभूषण शरण सिंह की गिरफ्तारी की मांग पूरी न होने पर सख्त कदम उठाएंगे।
