00:00 Using MAC Strobe Cream underneath my foundation is going to give me a glowing skin.
00:20 So my inspiration for this look was Katrina Kaif, who is a Bollywood actress, and she's
00:24 known to have a very clear, glowing skin, and the makeup that she wears is never very
00:30 heavy.
00:31 It's always very light.
00:32 And guys, I actually love that sort of a look where you look flawless and radiant without
00:37 looking like you've got tons and tons of makeup on your skin.
00:42 I'm using MAC Pro Longwear Concealer because it's great for under-eye darkness, because
00:47 if you go for NW range, then the pink undertones in the concealer actually cancels out the
00:52 darkness underneath the eyes, and just like that, the darkness is all gone.
00:59 Simple.
01:01 Now to make the makeup last a long time, we're going to set the foundation and the concealer
01:07 with a face powder.
01:12 You guys can use any eyeshadow primer that you like.
01:14 I'm using MAC Paint Pot here.
01:21 Katrina seems to love her champagne eyeshadows because she seems to wear champagne eyeshadows
01:26 all the time, and that's actually for a good reason, because champagne eyeshadows make
01:30 you look very young, beautiful, and very, very feminine.
01:37 So I'm applying this champagne eyeshadow all over my eyelids, and especially concentrating
01:41 on the inner corner and lower lash line as well.
01:46 Now here's a little trick.
01:47 You can actually use your blush on your crease, and that's a trick that Katrina uses all the
01:51 time.
01:52 So you will actually notice that the colour of the blush will match the colour on her
01:56 crease area exactly, and that's because it creates a very beautiful and natural look.
02:04 This peachy pink colour looks so amazing on the eyes.
02:08 Taking my black eyeliner pencil, I'm going to start to line my upper lash line.
02:20 Now to create a two-dimensional smokey look, I'm going to take this brown colour from NYX
02:23 Eyeshadow Palette, and I'm going to start to line on the top of my line that I created
02:30 using my eye pencil.
02:31 And then I'm going to start to smudge the eyeliner using an angled brush like so.
02:38 And this technique looks so amazing both for daytime and nighttime, as it creates such
02:43 a beautiful, subtle, smokey look without having to use a lot of dark colours on your crease
02:48 area.
02:52 So instead of using eye pencil on my lower lash line, I'm going to use the same brown
02:56 eyeshadow and drag it down to my lower lash line, because it's going to create a very
03:00 natural looking line.
03:03 This technique also helps the eyes look bigger.
03:12 And here's a little trick that Katrina uses all the time.
03:14 She takes the peachy pink blush underneath the lower lash line, so underneath the line
03:20 that you created.
03:23 I'm going to now use the same blush, the peachy pink blush, and I'm going to put that on the
03:27 apple of my cheeks.
03:29 You want to make sure that you don't take it up to the temples, because if you want
03:33 a really innocent looking look, then you want to place it only on the apple of your cheeks
03:37 and extend it towards your hairline.
03:44 So even if you don't know who Katrina is, you're going to love the glowing cheeks, because
03:48 she always has this beautiful, radiant cheeks.
03:51 So I'm going to replicate that look using my MAC Strobe Cream.
03:55 Today's Valentine's Day, and you guys are going to be clicking lots of pictures, so
03:58 it's great to contour your nose, so it looks beautiful in the photographs.
04:03 I'm taking Jordana Blush and a fluffy brush from MAC.
04:06 You can take any fluffy brush that you like, and that works amazing.
04:10 I'm also going to start to contour my cheekbones.
04:14 Now I'm using a peachy pink lip pencil, just to outline my lips.
04:20 So I'm going with a peachy pink theme with this lip gloss, but this lip gloss also has
04:24 this mauve undertone to it that looks amazing.
04:29 I wanted to keep this look very natural looking, so I really didn't want to use fake eyelashes.
04:33 So I'm going to curl my eyelashes and put mascara on with a technique I'm going to show
04:37 you that looks really stunning.
04:40 So I apply the first coat of mascara, and then without letting the first coat dry, I
04:44 apply the second coat of mascara as well.
04:48 And this will give volume to my eyelashes, and then I tilt the wand up like that, and
04:53 then I start to separate my eyelashes, and that really helps to lather the eyelashes.
04:59 And don't forget your bottom lashes, because that really opens up the eyes.
05:10 Now the very last step is to start to fill in the brows, and I'm going to use the same
05:13 NYX palette and the brown eyeshadow from the NYX palette, and an angled brush to start
05:18 to fill in my brows like so.
05:23 And we're done!
05:24 And that's the finished look, guys.
05:25 I hope you guys enjoyed watching this video, and thank you so much for watching.
