00:00 Hi guys, so I'm back with another Halloween makeup tutorial.
00:14 So because Walking Dead keeps getting requested, I figured why not use the other Walking Dead
00:19 prosthetic that Party City carries.
00:21 And this is the split jaw prosthetic.
00:25 It's really really really creepy looking.
00:27 It's like your jaw has been split and your tongue is hanging out because there's no mouth
00:30 to keep it in.
00:31 It's really creepy and it's going to be really gory.
00:34 As I mentioned previously in my other Halloween tutorial, I have teamed up with Party City
00:37 this Halloween to bring you guys some really amazing and fun and scary Halloween tutorials.
00:43 I'm going to be using all products that can be found at Party City and I also have a 20%
00:48 off coupon for you guys, which is totally cool Party City to give us.
00:51 The information is right here, it's also in the description box.
00:54 You just have to put this code in or you can go to the website and print out the coupon
00:58 and use it in store.
00:59 It's good for 20% off.
01:00 So we're going to be doing the split jaw today and this kit comes with a packet of fake blood
01:06 and a packet of the liquid latex and of course the prosthetic.
01:09 This is what the prosthetic looks like.
01:13 Really creepy.
01:14 This is what it looks like.
01:16 The man in the picture on the package doesn't look too messed up.
01:21 He just has his tongue exposed and he just looks really tired.
01:24 So we're going to mimic that.
01:25 We're going to do something like that but then we're going to make it our own.
01:27 We're going to add a little something to the forehead maybe.
01:29 As always, we're going to start with a clean face.
01:31 No makeup.
01:32 We're going to open up our liquid latex or our facial adhesive and we're going to line
01:37 all the edges of our prosthetic piece.
01:39 Alright, so once we have the edges covered in the liquid latex, we're just going to measure
01:43 it to our face and we're going to squeeze down on the edges to seal them because we
01:49 don't want them coming up.
01:50 You really want to push down on them.
02:07 So make sure they're smooth.
02:08 Now you can talk in this very easily.
02:10 You just can't see yourself talking because your mouth is supposed to be here.
02:14 But you can easily talk in it.
02:15 It's not hard at all.
02:17 Okay, so once we have this down, we're going to seal it.
02:22 A trick that I have is making this little mixture right here.
02:26 It's all-purpose flour, which everybody has in their cabinet, and just a tiny bit of water
02:31 just to give it this like doughy consistency.
02:34 And we're just going to pour in a little bit of liquid latex to make it sticky.
02:39 And we're going to go all along the edges so we can smooth it out.
02:53 So once we have this all around, we're going to let it dry for a little bit.
02:59 So after this has dried for a few minutes, we're going to go in with some liquid makeup
03:02 and we're going to get some on a sponge.
03:05 We're going to start placing it on top of the white areas.
03:12 So once we have it blended into our face, we're going to work on our eyes before we
03:15 go any further with the mouth.
03:16 Because once we start adding the blood, it's going to be a little hard to work on the eyes.
03:20 So what we're going to do for the eyes is just make ourselves look really, really, really
03:25 worn out and tired.
03:26 Now for the colors under our eyes, you're going to want to focus on like burgundies
03:31 and like deep, deep, deep purples.
03:42 And once you get like the wine colored on, you're going to want to go in with like a
03:45 purple, a really dark purple, like a dark wine.
03:49 And you're just going to do the shading for a bag.
03:52 Follow where your tear duct starts to the corner, but bring it down.
03:56 So we're going to go kind of like that.
04:00 And you're just going to keep working at the shading to make it dark, to make it appear
04:05 like a bag.
04:06 You can even use a very tiny amount of black for this, but you want to be very careful
04:11 with that because you don't want to go overboard.
04:16 We're going to go in with a sponge and some liquid latex.
04:21 And we're just going to build up on our forehead.
04:29 Liquid latex is a really good technique for making fake skin if you don't have anything
04:34 else besides liquid latex, because you can just build it up and build it up and build
04:39 it up.
04:40 And eventually it'll dry and then you can peel at it.
04:42 So we're going to just put a few layers of this on, let it dry, and then hit it with
04:48 another few layers.
04:49 Once our liquid latex dries, we're just going to want to peel at it in the form of a circle
04:57 to make an opening.
05:00 So basically you just want to go through the middle and just stretch it out.
05:07 Now to this open gash, we're going to add some red cream makeup in the center of it.
05:22 And now we're going to get started with our fake blood all over.
05:25 For the fake blood, we're going to be filling in our gash at the top and we're going to
05:28 be going all along the jaw.
05:31 We're going to take a textured sponge, which is one of my favorite tools to use for Halloween
05:36 makeup, and we're going to get some fake blood on there and we're going to start splattering
05:41 it all along the line from where the prosthetic meets our skin.
05:57 So now what I just did is I actually added a little bit of black cream makeup to the
06:00 textured sponge and I just kind of went over the areas and I think it looks better.
06:07 Even up there, don't forget that one.
06:10 Now it looks a lot more painful.
06:12 Now the final touch that I'm going to give this zombie face is do something with our
06:21 hair.
06:22 We're going to take some conditioner and we're going to squeeze it in our hand, like an obnoxious
06:30 amount.
06:31 And we're just going to basically grease up our hair.
06:35 Put it through.
06:40 And I think the zombie is done!
06:50 You want to be generous on the conditioner because you really want your hair to look
06:54 like it hasn't been washed in like weeks, I guess.
07:02 Really grease it up.
07:03 Make it look like you've been running through, well I don't know, what do zombies do?
07:10 Where do they run?
07:12 But, yep.
07:13 That's really it.
07:14 Like I said, all the products that I used can be found at Party City and I do have a
07:19 20% coupon for you guys.
07:21 You can either use it on the website or go to the website and print the coupon out.
07:25 The link will be in the description box for the printable version and then you can go
07:29 in store and use it.
07:30 It's 20% off and you can't beat it.
07:31 I hope you liked this tutorial.
07:34 This is what the guy in the package looked like so I think we hit him but we just did
07:40 a little scarier, gorier, bloodier version of him.
07:44 I hope you guys are doing well.
07:45 I hope you're enjoying the beginning of fall and I will see you in my next video.
07:50 Bye!
