In 790s Norway, in the village of Norheim, the Vikings go about their everyday lives - hunting and surviving. They celebrate their brave warriors’ return from battle, and offer up sacrifices to the gods to provide for their needs. However, their peaceful village is in imminent danger when the chieftain creates conflict with a nearby tribe. Meanwhile, a man from Rome, who’s unaware he’ll be a slave in the Norwegian town, does a poor job adjusting to his new life.
