00:00 Hi guys, it's Melody.
00:08 So I know it's almost that time again to go back to school.
00:11 Some of you may be dreading it, but some may not be.
00:14 Here's a natural back to school makeup look that I did and I hope you enjoy it.
00:19 Alright so first I like to use my finger to apply the foundation.
00:22 I'm using Maybelline's Fit Me foundation.
00:25 I personally like to do it this way because it gives me a light coverage and doesn't feel
00:29 too heavy on my face.
00:31 But you can do it however you like.
00:34 After that, pat your foundation down and spread it evenly by using quick dabbing motions.
00:51 And if you have any acne scars, just go back with a little foundation or concealer and
00:56 tap it on with your finger to cover it.
01:10 To set my foundation, I'm going to use this NYX finishing powder.
01:15 I like using a big fluffy brush because it's not as dense when you apply and it makes your
01:19 foundation look natural.
01:21 Plus it's really soft so it feels nice.
01:24 Then you're going to fill in your eyebrows.
01:27 I'm using my holy grail product which is the Anastasia Brow Wiz.
01:31 I seriously live by this because it's so easy to use so I always make sure to get a new
01:35 one before I run out.
01:39 Use a light hand with short motions so your eyebrows look soft and natural.
01:44 Start from the center and work your way out.
02:10 Ok sorry back to it.
02:12 So to keep your eyebrows from staying in place all day, use the Anastasia Brow Gel and brush
02:17 that through your eyebrows.
02:19 There's a tint of color to it as well that makes my eyebrows a shade lighter to look
02:23 more natural.
02:24 Today I'm going to use soft browns from the Naked 3 palette by Urban Decay.
02:30 First taking the light brown shade Naked and apply that all over your eyelid as a base
02:34 color.
02:46 Then taking Buck which is a soft brown shade, apply that on your eyelid but don't go past
02:51 your crease.
03:00 After that, take a clean blending brush and just blend your colors together.
03:06 To highlight your brows and make them stand out, use Virgin and apply it above your brow
03:10 bone.
03:11 I like to start from the arch of my eyebrow and work my way towards the center and ends.
03:24 Again with your clean brush, blend it all together.
03:27 And make sure you blend it well so there's no harsh lines.
03:33 Next I'm going to take Hustle and using a pencil brush, lightly apply that to your outer
03:37 eye line.
03:46 Apply a tiny bit on the outer bottom eye line as well.
03:59 Don't forget to blend!
04:05 For the eyeliner, I'm going to use the L'Oreal liquid eyeliner.
04:09 Just a tiny winged line is my favorite way of wearing it.
04:31 For both my blush and bronzer, I'm going to be using this e.l.f. two in one powder.
04:37 And contour at the hollows of your cheek with that soft brown color.
04:41 I like to go back and forth to make sure it gets blended evenly and there's no harsh lines.
04:48 And also apply it to your temples and on your jawline through your neck so the color blends
04:53 into your body.
04:54 My camera accidentally shut off and didn't record my blush, but just apply that color
04:59 on the apples of your cheeks.
05:02 Sorry for the blur, but just curl your lashes and apply mascara to your top and bottom lashes.
05:14 Then I like to go back to the shade virgin and apply that to my tear duct.
05:19 It gives your eyes a little pop and I think it looks really pretty.
05:31 And that's it!
05:32 Okay so I hope you guys enjoyed that video.
