00:00 Hi everyone, it's me Angel. This is my first YouTube makeup tutorial. I will be walking you through all the steps of this makeup look.
00:07 To start off, I'm using the Becca Ultimate Coverage Complexion Cream.
00:11 I'm working that into my skin with an It Cosmetics buffing brush.
00:16 I sort of pat it into my skin just so it melds with my skin texture. Also, it'll help it stay on longer.
00:23 Next, I'm going over facial hair areas which would have a grey undertone with this Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer.
00:30 Just as an extra layer of pigmentation basically to cover up the grey undertone.
00:37 And then right after that, I will be using the Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme for a little bit of a plumping effect.
00:47 But mostly to moisturize my lips in preparation for lipstick.
00:51 Underneath my eyes, I'll be using the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in a sort of triangular shape.
00:58 As well as down the center of my nose and my forehead.
01:01 Just for a highlighting effect and also to cancel out any undertones of under eye circles and stuff like that.
01:09 I'm working that in with a Real Techniques buffing brush.
01:13 And now onto the... well I'm setting it basically. With the yellow and beige highlight shades from the Lorac Pro Contour palette.
01:21 Just with an old fashioned makeup sponge.
01:24 Same areas that I placed the concealer basically.
01:28 I also put all over my face this setting powder from It Cosmetics called Bye Bye Porous.
01:34 I just didn't show that part.
01:36 So now I'm going to be using the light contour shade from the same palette to finally start the contour.
01:42 I'm using a MAC natural hair brush.
01:47 It kind of is at an angle so it hugs your cheekbones and just... it's just a lot easier to use.
01:52 Also a little bit under my nose to shorten that or give the illusion of a shorter nose.
01:57 I'm working into my hairline now.
01:59 The same color I had just used just to fill in where my little baby hair is just a little struggling a bit.
02:06 And then going in with the darker color as well just to make that melt into my actual hairline.
02:13 So now on my lid I'm using the MAC Pro Longwear Painterly Paint Pot as a base with an Urban Decay synthetic hair brush.
02:22 I'm going to let that set for a little bit while I move onto my eyebrows.
02:26 But there's the base for my eyeshadow.
02:29 So now I will be using the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in this color, Soft Brown.
02:36 I'm using a Japanesque eyeliner brush.
02:40 I prefer it over a brow brush just because it's a little thinner so I have more control over the product.
02:45 And it's just sharper and just easier.
02:49 It's kind of hard to describe what I'm doing or at least how to do it on yourself just because I know my own face.
02:56 So it just takes practice basically.
02:59 I'm not paying attention to the actual hairs on my eyebrows.
03:04 Otherwise I just have straight across the brows.
03:07 But yeah, maybe I'll make a separate video on that just so it'll be more clear how to do one's brows.
03:15 Okay, now onto the eyeshadow.
03:17 I'm going to be using the Lorac Pro Mattes palette in the lightest shade called Bare.
03:23 I will be using a Real Techniques Limited Edition Bold Metals brush.
03:28 Just to work that over the entire lid.
03:31 You can basically use any sort of larger brush just because you need to cover the entire eyelid area.
03:38 Honestly, you could even use your fingers too.
03:40 So no need to be precise.
03:42 So now I'm going in further defining just the outer areas just because the lighter color kind of washed everything out.
03:51 So now I'm just adding more dimension with a slightly darker brown color called Latte.
03:55 Mixing it with an even darker brown called Corduroy.
03:58 And just blending that in with a smaller but still fluffy brush until it is blended to my liking.
04:05 And now in the center of the lid I'm using this Smashbox eyeshadow trio.
04:10 It's called Quick Take.
04:12 I'm not sure what this one specific shade is called.
04:15 But it's a goldy copper kind of orangey.
04:18 And that's going on my mobile lid which is the area of the lid which moves when you open and close your eyes.
04:23 I'm going in with the darkest color called Chocolate.
04:27 The darkest brown.
04:28 And I'm working that on the outer part of my mobile lid.
04:32 Just to, again, just further add dimension and just complete the look essentially.
04:40 I'm going to be adding some black too but that comes first.
04:44 The dark brown.
04:45 So again, just blending it until I feel like there's no obvious seams.
04:50 I'm using this NYX Wonder Pencil in the shade Medium.
04:52 And my inner eyelid, inner rim I guess you could say.
04:58 Just to brighten it and seem more awake essentially.
05:01 Now I'm taking this NYX Glam.
05:04 It's like a liquid glitter essentially.
05:06 It's in like a beige-y nude kind of color.
05:09 Just in the center.
05:11 And then I'm using a gold from NYX as well.
05:14 In the center and then more towards the outer corner.
05:19 Now I'm using the They're Real Push Up Liner.
05:22 For my liner obviously.
05:24 It's super easy to use.
05:26 It's like a silicone head so you don't have to worry about pushing too hard because it'll move with the pressure that you apply.
05:35 And I follow my lower lid I guess you would say.
05:41 My lower lash line.
05:43 I just follow that line and sort of extend it.
05:46 And then that's how I get the shape and I just fill it in.
05:49 It's a process.
05:51 And then I'm using the Lights Camera Lashes Best Info Duo.
05:55 One side is a regular mascara.
05:58 It's from Tarte, this duo.
06:00 But I start out with that first.
06:03 And then I go above my lashes too.
06:07 You know what I mean?
06:08 So I don't just sweep from underneath just so they're fully coated.
06:12 I mean on all sides it's completely coated in mascara.
06:16 I just feel like that helps a lot for me just to get a nice lashy look.
06:21 And now I'm using the other side which is the Best Info.
06:23 It's got these little mini fibers that'll help lengthen your lashes.
06:29 So yeah you just swipe that on after the mascara.
06:32 For my lower lash line I'm using the Tightline from It Cosmetics.
06:37 I use it vertically just to get some definition.
06:40 But then also horizontally like you normally would just to sort of brush out any clumps.
06:46 But yeah, I love this stuff.
06:49 And then the next thing I'm using is It Cosmetics Blush in Pretty and Puny.
06:55 And I had mentioned that in a previous video that I made.
06:58 I'm using a Real Techniques Duo Fiber Brush to work that into my cheeks.
07:04 Just above where I put the contour. Not too high up. Not too low.
07:09 And more towards the outer sides of my face.
07:11 This is my favorite part ever.
07:14 This is a highlight. I'm using the from Laura Geller.
07:17 It's called, what is it called? It's called Gilded Honey.
07:22 It's the most beautiful highlighter you'll ever see in your life.
07:25 It just makes your skin look wet and like kissed by the sun or something like that.
07:29 I don't know.
07:30 And to tie it all together, I'm adding a little of that same color in my inner corners.
07:36 Onto the lips. The cherry on top.
07:38 I'm using this NYX lip liner in the color Bloom.
07:42 Just to go all over my lips.
07:44 Just to sort of get a general color.
07:46 I'm going to be using a bunch of different colors.
07:49 But I will be starting with that.
07:50 Now I'm using the Urban Decay Anarchy Lip Pencil.
07:53 Going over the same areas and filling it in.
07:56 But also on my upper lip, I'm going to be making that a little fuller.
08:00 It takes a little getting used to when you start to make your lip a little bigger.
08:06 It feels awkward.
08:07 But once you get the shape right and everything, it makes such a huge difference in your makeup look.
08:11 So, try it.
08:13 And so now I will be going in with just a random Ulta fuchsia lipstick color.
08:20 And then on top of that, I'm doing a slightly lighter fuchsia, which is the Urban Decay lipstick that matches the lip liner.
08:27 Now I'm using this MAC lipstick in the color Rebel.
08:30 It's like a dark maroon, which would make sense.
08:33 But I love putting that in the corners of my mouth.
08:36 Just to make some definition.
08:38 I think everyone should use more than one color on their lips.
08:40 Hence, the fact that I'm using this as well.
08:42 Which is a super light one from LORAC called Showgirl.
08:45 And that's just to make them pop. You dig?
08:47 So now I'm taking my hair down.
08:50 But not before I finish my eyeshadow look with this black color.
08:56 Just to define.
08:58 Make it a little more glamoroso.
09:00 A little more dramatic.
09:02 And I'm blending that out just so it's not too harsh.
09:04 So I'm setting my whole entire face with Evian Facial Spray.
09:07 It's just mineral water.
09:09 But I love it so much.
09:12 You have to get it.
09:13 And then also, well now I'm moving on to my hair.
09:16 I'm going to be using a curling wand.
09:18 Working from the bottom up.
09:20 Just curling away from my face.
09:22 Nothing special.
09:23 Except when I get to the top.
09:25 I like to pull up on the hair before I let go of it.
09:31 Just so it cools down in up position.
09:33 I already have volume.
09:34 So now I'm going to shake it out.
09:36 And then brush it out after I tousle it a little bit.
09:41 But yeah, just to make the hairs come together.
09:44 And just to have a very polished look.
09:47 So that's essentially my entire makeup video.
09:50 I hope you loved it.
09:52 And yeah, let me know if you want to see more.
09:55 (upbeat music)
