Phoenix survives San Miguel's late-game fightback | Sports Desk

The Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters recovering just in the nick of time to beat the San Miguel Beermen last night, 106 to 101. Phoenix led by as much as 26 huge points anchored by a red-hot 18 to 2 start.
But the Beermen, playing without most of its stars, turned the jets on to finally take the lead, 99 to 98, three minutes remaining in the fourth period. But the Fuel Masters would not be denied staving off the Beermen for the win.
Simon Camacho led Phoenix with 15 points while Tyler Tio finished with 14 markers including the go-ahead triple with 48 seconds left.
