00:00 Hi guys, today I'm going to be filming a video. It is Sunday and for me Sundays are very boring
00:07 and if you're wondering why I've got my hair in flats, it's because my hair's wet. In nearly
00:15 every video my hair's wet so I'm just going to try and you know, put it up so it's like
00:19 up to the make. But yes, I'm going to be filming a video today and it's a makeup tutorial for
00:26 you. For me, I don't really wear makeup to school, I don't wear coats and makeup but
00:33 for people who are in year 9, 7 or people who are just getting started with makeup for
00:43 something, I'm going to do that for you. I don't know why anyone would want my opinion
00:47 on it but I will try my best. So I have a magic bag, this doesn't look very magical
00:55 but I've got a magic bag filled with things that I regularly use. I've got quite a lot
01:02 of makeup actually but I don't really wear that a lot. I've got these sponges and this
01:09 is what I'm going to do first, I'm going to put concealer on first. So I'm going to be
01:18 using this brush and this is just for, I don't know, I just like to use this brush. Tip for
01:25 washing brushes is to don't buy, like, don't buy stuff special for your brushes like a
01:32 brush cleaner, cleanser because here's a fact, you can just wash it with shampoo and water
01:48 and that gets rid of everything but you need to really massage it through. But I don't
01:55 really wash this one because I don't use a round one. And yet these sponges are just
02:02 £1 in a shop and they're pretty good, they're better than some brushes because I don't really
02:09 use brushes for makeup. And I've got this massive sponge which is good, it's a big oval
02:16 one. I've got two of those and this one for just blending and then this one is just for
02:23 my foundation and I think I'm going to use this one for cleansing, not cleansing, what's
02:31 it called, concealer. This one for back up, maybe like for foundation and this one for
02:41 foundation also because you can just like, you can vary different sponges. Now what I
02:48 find funny about particularly people who use makeup is they spend so much money on foundation.
02:55 Now these are limited to about £10 for me for foundation and it's pretty good, it's
03:06 pretty cheap the one I use and it's drugstore type because I don't want to spend so much
03:13 money on foundation like it really matters I guess. But that's what I find funny and
03:19 I'm not a massive beauty guru, I just like makeup in general. But these two, they're
03:26 both in different colours, I can use both of them on my face because they match my face.
03:33 I think I've got some foundation on my face. Rimmel London Match Perfection Light Perfecting
03:40 Radiance Foundation and these are amazing. I love Rimmel London for their foundations
03:44 and I'm very surprised at how much you spend on makeup sometimes because it's really, I
03:51 think it's about £10 but these are my mum's old ones so I use some of hers and yeah I
03:59 think they're really good and they cover your face perfectly so you don't have to worry.
04:06 And yeah I'm going to be putting foundation and concealer on first. Two concealer options,
04:11 that's my guinea pig, sorry if you hear any rustling. This is pretty wrecked, I don't
04:16 know why it is but it's not my name obviously, I've got a bit of hair stuck on it and that's
04:21 gross. But it's Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and this is a raised face by Benefit.
04:28 You can choose whatever you want, they're both cheap and this one is my favourite and
04:32 it's a pretty small one, you can get larger ones but I just got a small one for now so
04:37 I'm just going to place that on first. Sorry if I'm looking up, it's because I'm looking
04:41 in the mirror because sometimes camera lighting is different from the real lighting and I
04:46 have to look up a bit sometimes, that's my mirror, sorry. They've got this little sponge
04:51 thing on them but I'm just going to put that on like this and I look like an idiot when
04:55 I do that. This is slightly darker than my skin tone, don't worry if it is because you
05:00 can just cover it with foundation, and once I bought foundation that was like £10 and
05:06 it was in my colour and it was really annoying because I didn't ask any for help, I didn't
05:12 think I needed help and I just did that. But I have so many spots around this area so that's
05:19 what I cover with most and I've got redness around my chin so I'm just going to cover
05:24 that. Once I look like a weirdo and this is good, don't worry about it, I just blend it
05:29 in with this sponge and to be honest with you, sponges are pretty good for me, I rather
05:34 sponges than brushes to me because the brushes are so much, like Real Techniques have awesome
05:41 brushes but they're like £20 for one and like £10 for a sponge, I think that's ridiculous,
05:48 you can get much more better ones than that and as you can see it's quite patchy and I
05:56 have under eye circles but I think I'm just going to cover that now. So I told you how
06:02 my concealer is darker than my skin tone and I'm just going to blend this in a little bit
06:08 and if you're wondering what that is, that's a scab from a spot which is not very nice
06:14 and I hate my spots but everyone has them at different times and some people have them
06:20 at the same time and yeah, I rather it now than never because if you never have spots
06:27 it's very weird and also like it is different from my skin tone and I don't know if you
06:34 can see that on this camera because it's a bit, this is a good light in because this
06:40 is natural light in so I use it right by the window but it's quite like a bright day today
06:45 but it's not sunny. And I'm going to be using my foundations, there's Rimmel London
06:50 Match Perfection and there's just different colours and I like to vary my colours. Now
06:58 if anyone passes I'm just going to have to duck because I feel really embarrassed like
07:02 this but this is all my foundation on, I use this one but I usually use different ones
07:07 and there's not much left in that, that's why there's not many on my face and I'm just
07:10 going to blend it in I think with a bigger sponge and don't worry I'm not going to look
07:16 this bad. My skin tone on my face, my legs and everywhere else is so different from my
07:23 arms because my arms are like brown as ever so I'm just going to like, can you see there's
07:28 a stripe down from where my tan is on my hand, it's terrible but yeah, I don't know why that
07:34 is. I'm just going to just, I'm just going to just blend in my foundation like that.
07:44 It sounds like I'm on my face, sorry if there's squeaking, if there's my chair, if there's
07:47 my spinning chair, I'm very sorry for that. But yeah, my face is all complete, all blended
07:54 and once I've done that I'm just going to wipe the foundation off my lips. I can't get
07:59 it off, I'm just going to have to use like a wet wipe or something. So people do use
08:05 contour, I'm not a strong contourer but that's my opinion, but I like blush and highlighting
08:11 and stuff like that. So here is my blush and bronzer, it's double act, it's two in one
08:17 and it's a double act bronzer and blusher. It is very good, I like it a lot and wait
08:23 for it to dry and then I'll just blend it in. It's a bit dirty but there you go, that's
08:29 it. And you can blend together or you can use one each but this is the brush I use for
08:33 it, it's like in a clear sack and I just like mix it about, blow some off because sometimes
08:38 it can be too much. And I just put it on my cheeks like this and it's pretty good. And
08:47 I'm a weirdo because I'm like being weird but yeah, this is how I use Lidl. You know
08:55 the trick. And I hate my eyebrows, my eyebrows I just hate them so I'm just going to brush
09:03 them through. And this is just what I really use, this is some that's not blended in, if
09:10 it isn't I just do a quick blend with my sponge. And some people get lined up with it so I
09:18 don't do that luckily. So this is what my face looks like so far, if you want to leave
09:22 it like that that's fine but this is just what I like. I forgot to say, if you want
09:26 to use powder you can use Rimmel's London Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder, here
09:33 it is, it's good, it is a drugstore one as well. All of these I think are drugstore or
09:40 just random ones so I got that, I can see the other stuff. I usually just like to do
09:45 it on my forehead and under my eyes. There's nothing else that I like to do, maybe under
09:50 the chin and by under the chin like that. But otherwise that is it and I don't know
09:56 why but there's a little hole in the middle now, I think I used it a lot. So yes. Obviously
10:04 everyone's obsessed with naked palettes but I don't really, I like the colours but you
10:11 can get remakes and they're not bad, sorry about that. But you can get remakes and you
10:16 can get copies, it's by W7, and you can just get copies and this is much more cheaper than
10:21 the original. I think it's exactly the same as a naked palette, just not the original.
10:28 It's called In The Nude, Natural Nudes. And this is the palette. And it's basically just
10:34 the same. I don't know why everyone's crazy about their naked palette, maybe they just
10:38 could get something cheaper. And I'm not a fan of MAC either, I don't use any MAC products.
10:45 Obviously I'm only young so. And I'm just going to use a colour, the first colour, wait
10:51 let me look at the colour. Latte! Because I have to look underneath. And I'm just going
10:57 to put this on my eyelids and I'm just, for other occasions obviously you can put something
11:02 more, but I'm just going to put a plain creamy colour on my eyes because I'm not fussed on
11:11 like pinky colours or big colours. I like silver and blacks and stuff but I'm just not
11:18 fussed on like nudes but I'm not fussed on like the purples and pinks and blues. But
11:24 I like dark blues on eyes, I think they look really lovely. But yeah. And trick, always
11:32 use eyeshadow before mascara otherwise the eyeshadow will fall onto your eyelashes and
11:37 they will stick to mascara. And also a good way to get out of wearing mascara and having
11:43 to wipe it all off is using, is using eyelash curler because I love eyelash curlers even
11:53 though they can be a bit scary. I'm nearly finished with this tutorial actually but use
11:58 an eyebrow brush because sometimes your eyebrows look much better if they're brushed. And I'm
12:07 such a weirdo. But they make my eyebrows look much better. See that, it looks more shaped.
12:15 Yeah. And I need to pluck the hair actually because I'm getting a monobrow. And if you
12:22 want to just like fill in, I always just recommend the cheap things. I always do. Constance Carol
12:28 eyebrow pencil, it's just random. It's a black one because my eyebrow colour is quite dark.
12:34 And I just fill it in lightly. No need to press down hard, just light brushes look like
12:42 your real eyebrows then. So the next thing is, sorry about that, I keep on putting piles
12:50 of mascara on the camera. But the last thing I'm going to be using is my eyelash curler
12:58 and mascara. So this is a double mascara. I always go for the cheap things. These are
13:04 both from Klairs. I love Klairs. And this is a Klairs eyelash curler. It has jewels.
13:09 I didn't really matter if it had jewels on it, just an eyelash curler will do. And then
13:14 this has like two in one which is glitter and plain. And this one is drying up which
13:19 I'm really upset about. But the less mascara the better because of the wiping off. And
13:25 that's what I think as well. So what I do is I just put it like that, press down and
13:32 leave it for five seconds. And as you can see my eyelashes have popped and they've come
13:39 to life. And as you can see it's drying up which is really sad. And I'm just going to
13:47 put some more on. This is my mum going upstairs. And you see how it doesn't make it a big difference
13:53 but it makes it good enough and this is a good trick as well to make it thicker and
14:00 blacker. And the bottom lash like that. And the same goes for the other one. And I'm just
14:14 going to get something. It's a new thing that I just bought and I'm very impressed with
14:21 it. And the last thing is you can't go wrong with it. This is the Zweila Kiss Me Lip Balm.
14:29 It is tinted. This is the colour. It's not as strong as it is on. As I said it's tinted.
14:36 And I'm just going to try and wipe all this foundation off my lips. It'll be tinted anyway.
14:40 And I don't like to go for strong colours but this is a really nice one. And it's a
14:49 lip balm as well so it's in double trouble. And the double... Oh I licked it. Why did
14:58 I lick it? And I just put it on. And I used to love Zweila's YouTube channel. It's just
15:09 that I'm not interested in watching YouTubers anymore. Watching the ones I used to watch
15:14 anymore. And so I just love her products and her inner self and her books. So this is the
15:23 makeup tutorial that I just showed. And I hope you enjoyed it. It's not that much that
15:31 you need to use to go to school. Here's a tip. Don't wear makeup unless you like you
15:38 actually need to wear makeup because there's no rush in growing up. And I just wanted to
15:43 do this for fun. If anyone liked it I'm very sorry about that. That's my guinea pig. She
15:47 went on a bath. Can you hear that? Anyway this was a slightly long video and you didn't
15:54 have to watch it. If you even watched like 5 seconds of it thank you for clicking because
15:58 it means that you want to watch me. Because that's the only thing. And yes I hope you
16:06 enjoyed this video and I will see you all again very soon. Bye!
16:11 Bye!
16:11 Bye!
16:12 Bye!
