00:00 Hey guys! So as you can tell I made a little special effects tutorial today
00:07 and I feel like it's funnier but it's also harder but today I felt like I
00:17 want to do something a little bit gore like if you can tell there is glass
00:26 pieces in the wound. Wow wound. So if you want to know how to create this wound
00:34 then keep on watching!
00:37 Starting off I'm going to prep my face with some alcohol to make the wax stick better.
00:41 The wax I'm going to use I don't know the brand of it and I'm going to soak my hands in Vaseline
00:47 before I work it into a worm shaped piece. Then I'm going to push it into my skin and blend it with my fingers.
01:01 Then I'm going to use a pointed tool and wrench it in Vaseline a bit. Then I'm going to create my opening in the skin.
01:28 Then I'm actually going to use a plastic cap and cut it into pieces and that will be my glass.
01:35 Then I'm going to take a slightly orange shadow and I'm just going to fill in the wound.
01:43 I just apply shadows that are a little reddish and that I feel that matches it.
01:51 Then I'm going to take a little bit of white and I'm going to apply it to my skin.
01:58 Then I'm going to take a little bit of black and I'm going to apply it to my skin.
02:05 Then I'm going to take a little bit of black and I'm going to apply it to my skin.
02:29 Then comes my favorite part where I get to apply my fake blood. I basically just put it in the wound and then go wild.
02:37 Whatever I want to do, whatever I think looks good, I just go.
02:43 At this point I'm just pressing the fake glass in the wax because it's so sticky so it holds it in place.
02:58 Then I'm putting some fake blood on it to make it look like it's been there a while.
03:04 Then I'm just going to apply it to my skin.
03:08 Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
03:18 Let me know if you want me to do a special effects series or something.
