Walmsley smashes course record at Istria 100 by UTMB 2023

  • last year
The stunning Croatian peninsula of Istria welcomed over 2,000 runners from around the world for the 10th edition of Istria 100 by UTMB

Jim Walmsley stormed to victory in the 100-mile race , smashing the course record and securing his place for the first edition of the UTMB World Series Finals. In the women's field, it was heartbreak to see Esther Fellhofer forced to withdraw despite spending over 110km of the race in the lead. Then Kimino Miyazaki went on to take a commanding win.

The four other races gave us also unique scenarios in this amazing scenery, as brutal as beautiful, from the sea to the rocky mountains passing by authentic villages. We believe you had what you came for

Once again, congrats to all of you, it was such a pleasure to celebrate with you this 10th anniversary. See you very soon!
