00:00 Hey guys! You can probably tell by the title of this video that it's a back to school video.
00:07 Yeah. Hair and makeup and outfit. So I wanted to film a short intro to explain.
00:18 I'm going back to school way earlier than anyone, pretty much.
00:22 Like, school starts in like three days and it's not even August, so.
00:30 I'm trying to keep up with summer videos but I've hardly posted at all.
00:36 I am so sorry guys, but I will be back to my normal schedule, hopefully soon enough with my nail tutorials.
00:44 But I can't film right now because if you can see my nails, they are destroyed.
00:50 I did acrylics when I was on vacation. They lasted three days. Professional salon acrylics lasted three days.
00:58 Horrible experience. The guy was flirting with me and he was like 40, 50 maybe.
01:04 And it was just... He didn't even do a good job.
01:08 And then I did my own acrylics here at home and I will probably film a video on that eventually.
01:15 Not sure when or anything because I need my nails to fix themselves.
01:22 But my home acrylics lasted about just over a week.
01:27 And without the wear and tear showing or anything.

01:58 Hey guys so I'm gonna start off with my H20+ mattifying toner to just remove all that dead skin that can pile up on your face while you're sleeping.
02:11 And I know I look like I was killed and stuff like that but oh well.
02:18 Next I'm taking my Clean and Clear Advanced Acne Control Moisturizer to give my face some life.
02:27 So yeah.
02:30 Now I'm gonna take my e.l.f. Mineral Primer and just apply this all over my face.
02:51 To me this is the most important step because it keeps everything from clogging your pores and causing you to break out horribly.
02:59 So always use primer and always use a moisturizer before applying makeup.
03:05 I don't even know what I'm doing here. I was bored. But yeah.
03:11 Now I'm gonna take my blending brush and my Dream Fresh BB Cream and just... blending brush... blending sponge and just apply my BB Cream all over my face.

03:52 And now I put my hair out of my way because it was just not working.
03:56 And now I'm gonna go in with my e.l.f. Under Eye Concealer or correct or whatever it's called and just fix up those dark circles.
04:15 Now I'm gonna take this little brush kit that I got from Marshalls and use the blending brush.
04:23 And I'm going in with my bronzer and just gonna apply that from the hairline out to give it the most natural effect.
04:31 And then take a real blending brush and just blend it out to make it look more natural and subtle.

04:48 And now I'm just gonna apply some bronzer to my temples to make my face look smaller and then blend it out.
04:55 I don't know what's with all the dancing but oh well.
05:03 Now I'm gonna take my NYX Blush Cream and just apply that to my face.
05:10 And then I'm gonna take my blending brush and just make it look a little softer and not as vibrant.

05:25 Now I'm gonna take my eyebrow brush. It's a NYX eyebrow pencil and I'm just gonna make sure my brows are going in the direction I want and then fill them in.

05:48 After I do that I'm going to go back over with my brush and just smooth everything out and then touch up where it needs to be.
05:59 Now I'm gonna go with my dual sided clear mascara from e.l.f. and I'm just gonna use the eyebrow side and just hold everything in place.
06:17 Now I'm gonna take my NYX eyeshadow. It's in a very neutral color so I use it as a base and I also use it as an eyebrow highlighter.
06:29 And this just makes everything look more natural.
06:34 Then I'm gonna take my eyeshadow brush from that mini kit in one of my e.l.f. eyeshadow duos and just start with the lightest color farther in and then on the outer corner of my eye I'm gonna take the darker color and just blend it together.

06:58 As you can tell I sort of fought with the darker color to make it show up and I'm sorry for my voice and my lack of English today. So just bear with me please.

07:27 Now I'm gonna take my clear mascara again, this time with the eyelash side and just put on mascara like you normally would.

07:47 And now I'm gonna take my lip moisturizer and then my NYX lip primer and then I'm gonna take my NYX matte pink lipstick and I really like the color of this.

08:06 And then, girls, you know this trick to keep it off your teeth and then just dab off the excess.

08:18 And now I'm gonna use this NYX wonder pencil and it can be used as a concealer or a reverse lip liner. Also it can be used in the corner of your eye to make you look more awake.

08:33 As you can see I'm just fixing up with using it as a concealer and voila. Now I'm gonna take my e.l.f. translucent powder, apply that all over my face to make a matte finish.
08:46 And you all should know how to do this so I'm not gonna explain.

08:54 Lastly I'm taking my e.l.f. setting spray and just spraying that all over my face.
08:59 Now it's time for the hair. Let's tame this mess. First off, brush it out and don't forget to take out your bobby pins but brush it out and then I'm going to use some dry shampoo to make my hair look more alive.
09:16 I'm using the Not Your Mother's Clean Freak and I love this stuff. I got it from Walmart in the travel section because it's like a buck compared to the big bottle which costs a lot more. I'd rather just buy these tiny ones because then I can take them with me on the go.

09:44 Now I'm just gonna brush through my hair again to spread out the dry shampoo.
09:51 And now I'm going to take all of my hair, collect it on one side and then I'm just gonna do a simple braid but you guys can do whatever you want.
10:05 This is just what I do when I have no time to actually do something nice with my hair. Usually I leave it down depending on how it looks.
10:16 So I'm just gonna do a regular braid, nothing fancy. I could do a fishtail but it depends on how much time you have, if you're running late or whatever.
10:27 And I'm just gonna tie it off with a pink hair elastic because I think it gives the outfit a pop of color. You'll see what I mean in a minute.
10:35 Then I'm gonna take two bobby pins because my hair is too short and just hold in those extra fly away strands.

10:47 I'm gonna pair it with this No Photos Please beanie from Jeans Warehouse.
10:53 And then if you have your bangs really long like me and can't put them away, just try and tuck them into your braid.

11:06 Now on to the outfit. My shoes are from Jeans Warehouse and my jeans are from Marshalls.
11:13 My cardigan is from $16 Shop. I don't know the exact name. My binder is from Walmart. My tablets are from Walmart.
11:22 My backpack is from Forever 21. Same with the shirt I am wearing.

11:32 And this is the completed makeup and hair look together. And I'm just covering my face with the binder because you know, that's totally normal.
