00:00 Hi everyone! So today I'm going to be doing a back to school video because I know lots
00:05 of you will be going back to school or starting sixth form and even university so I know it's
00:11 such a scary daunting experience but also really really exciting. I know one of the
00:15 most nerve wracking things about starting college or university or even going back to
00:19 school after the summer is knowing what to wear and how to do your makeup and your hair
00:23 and everything so I'm going to be showing you a really natural everyday makeup look
00:28 that I have actually been wearing nearly every day for the past few weeks other than no makeup
00:32 days of course and the hair I've been wearing loads recently it's a really messy top knot
00:37 and I wore it in Marcus's last video last weekend where we did the 'knock my legs'
00:41 challenge and loads of people were asking me for me to do a tutorial on it so I'm going
00:46 to include that in today's video and also a really casual yet kind of glamorous in a
00:52 way outfit idea to wear to school. I'm going to start with makeup and before I get on with
00:57 anything I'm just going to moisturise my face and I'm using Faith in Nature and it's a replenishing
01:02 moisturising cream and it's so lovely it's all natural ingredients and just feels so
01:07 nice on your skin. I'm also going to apply a little bit of lip balm just before I do
01:19 any of my makeup and I'm using the Kiehl's lip balm and it's in the mango flavour which
01:23 is so delicious I love it. So my makeup is going to be really natural and hardly any
01:34 products on my face as you know already I don't wear foundation on a day to day basis
01:38 so feel free to include your foundation step into this look. So first of all I'm going
01:43 to use the Porefessional by Benefit and I know a lot of people say that you only really
01:48 use a face primer when you wear foundation but I actually really like to use this just
01:55 underneath powder because I feel like it really sets it for the whole day. This look is so
02:05 quick honestly it's such a perfect makeup look before school or university whatever
02:09 just because every minute counts in bed I know that so you can spend an extra ten minutes
02:14 in bed save yourself doing a whole makeup look and this honestly takes five minutes.
02:20 So I'm just taking the concealer and this is Wake Me Up by Rimmel. I've been really
02:24 loving this I used to have this a while ago and I kind of forgot about it but I really
02:29 like it again now I love it when that happens. I think I need to bring you a little bit closer.
02:42 So once I've done the concealer I move straight on to powder and I'm still loving the Mac
02:47 Studio Fix powder it's just amazing I take this everywhere with me and I use it every
02:52 day so just taking a big powder brush just going to swirl it around and literally just
02:57 cover that all over your face. All over your face. And like I said before if you do like
03:09 to wear foundation every day then feel free to do that step now. I'm just going to put
03:18 a little bit of bronzer on my cheekbones just to define them a little bit more and I'm using
03:23 the Dolce & Gabbana it's really nice inside it's all like marbleised there you can see.
03:34 And then I always take that under the jawline as well just a touch. And around the outside
03:44 of the face. And then using just any kind of face powder brush or anything just you
03:50 can blend that all out so you're not all stripey. And now I'm just going to highlight my cheekbones
04:02 a little bit and I'm using the Mac Mineralize Skin Finish and this is in Light Year. And
04:08 using a blusher brush I'm just going to do that along my cheekbones. This is just a really
04:16 nice fresh finish I think I really like a touch of shimmer on the cheekbones it does
04:20 look really nice and glowy. Speaking of glowy I'm going to be using the Benefit Girl Meets
04:27 Pearl just on my brow bone again just to give a little bit of shimmer and a glow. I'm just
04:38 going to brush out any powder from my eyebrows and also my eyelashes. I'm actually wearing
04:51 false lash extensions at the moment and they're so so good it means I don't have to wear mascara
04:56 at all. I do wear mascara on the bottom lashes I'll do that in a minute but I did write a
05:01 blog post about my lash extensions so I'll link that down below because I would highly
05:04 recommend them they're so good. I'm not going to define my eyebrows as such I'm just going
05:09 to be using the Gimme Brown by Benefit and I'm still loving this if you saw my Q&A video
05:15 I think I mentioned it in a few weeks ago and I just really like this. I honestly don't
05:20 feel like I need to define my brows on a daily basis just because this is good enough really.
05:24 Now I'm just going to use some mascara on my bottom lashes and I'm using the Eyeko Curvy
05:44 Brushless Mascara. Last but not least just a bit of lip gloss and this is the Barry M
05:55 and I don't know what colour this is actually, Show Off that's what it's called, it's called
05:59 Show Off. So that's the makeup done and it was so easy to do so that will definitely
06:12 save you some time in the morning hopefully and you can even do that in the car on your
06:15 way there or train or bus however you get to school. So now I'm going to move on to
06:20 my hair. So first of all I'm just going to spray into the roots of my hair some texturising
06:24 hairspray and I'm using the one by Show Premier and I love this one it's really nice. To be
06:30 honest it's the only texturising hairspray that I've ever used but I love it so I just
06:34 stick to it and the bottle's really pretty I love the crystal cap. Smells amazing too.
06:41 And then just take all of your hair up to the top of your head and just like roughly
06:51 try and smooth it out, it doesn't have to be too smooth anyway because it is a messy
06:56 hair look so don't worry too much. And then just start twisting it into a bun. You can
07:04 use the hair donuts as well if your hair isn't you know that thick or anything. Then just
07:09 tie that using a hair tie and I don't like personally how like sleeped back it is so
07:16 I always pull the hair at the front round. And I like to take a little bit of hair either
07:29 side there and then you can just kind of mess the bun up any old way. And just give it a
07:41 little spritz of hairspray. One side is looking a little bit like bigger and higher than the
07:49 other so just using a grip you can grip that into place just pull it down a little bit.
08:01 Okay so that's the hair done and the makeup and my nails I'm using the Barry M Matt colour
08:06 and I should really find out Copacabana that's what it's called Copacabana that's really
08:13 hard to say. It's really nice though this colour it's really bright and still really
08:18 summery and it's matte so yeah I really like that one. So what I'm wearing is some ripped
08:23 light denim jeans by Abercrombie with a high neck sleeveless kind of black woolen material
08:29 top by H&M with a gold really simple necklace that just goes around the neck and this is
08:35 by Sephara and I think it's a Spanish brand because I got it when I was in Spain a few
08:40 weeks ago but I will try and find that and link that down below for you. And my earrings
08:45 are like peace signs they're really cute they're by Accessorize so I'll try and find those
08:49 and link them down below as well for you. I'm obsessed with my shoes at the moment I
08:52 love them they are by Projectshoe.com and I designed them myself so I'll link those
08:57 down below because you can buy the ones that I designed and my handbag is by Warehouse.
