00:00 Hi my angels and welcome back to my channel. I always used to struggle with greasy hair
00:09 and not knowing what to do with them so today I'm going to show you my favourite 5 ways
00:13 of styling my hair when it is greasy. You'll need a comb, some hair bubbles and I got mine
00:19 from Primark and some hair grips which I got from Sally's. So let's get started.
00:24 So the first look is the sleek pony. Now I don't know about you guys but I don't like
00:29 my hair in my face when it's greasy. So here I am, all you do is you sleek back all of
00:35 your hair and I like to take mine in little sections like this whilst grabbing all the
00:40 pieces together in the other hand. And you just want to keep sleeking it all across until
00:44 you've got all of the hair in one hand and then all you do next is you tie it into a
00:51 ponytail. And I did use two rubber bands because my hair is so thick but it's such a quick
00:56 and easy hairstyle to do when you have greasy hair. And I'm just going over the bits at
01:01 the front and bottom, sides and back just to make sure it's nice and sleek. I love pairing
01:07 my updo hairs with big earrings and also a bold lip.
01:11 The next look is the wrapped sleek pony. So you've got your sleek pony from the previous
01:16 look and you take a section from the hair from the back of the ponytail and simply wrap
01:22 it around the rubber band. And you keep wrapping until all your hair is finished and then you
01:28 grip the ends into place. And if you do have any bits that end up sticking out then literally
01:35 push them in and grip them away. I really like doing this because it gives the ponytail
01:40 a really elegant and sleek look.
01:43 The third look is the sleek braid. So we're going to start off exactly where we finished
01:48 with the last look and we are going to take the ponytail into three sections and simply
01:54 just braid your hair. It's really, really, really simple but the final look looks so
02:01 nice, especially if you have coloured hair or coloured ends. It looks amazing and you
02:06 just secure it with a normal hair tie at the end and you're done. You can also use a clear
02:11 elastic if you want but I totally didn't have any at hand.
02:15 The fourth look is the braided top knot. Now all you do is take the braid that we made
02:19 earlier and wrap it round into a top knot and grip it all into place. And because we
02:26 wrapped the piece of hair around the rubber band earlier, it adds a really nice amount
02:31 of volume to the entire top knot. So it makes it look a little bit bigger than it is. It's
02:36 a really nice, fun and easy way to do a top knot.
02:39 The fifth and final way is the sleek top knot. I'm starting off with a wrapped sleek pony
02:45 to give it some extra volume in the middle and twisting all of the hair in the ponytail
02:50 and then wrapping that round the base like this. And then just gripping it into place
02:56 with some bobby pins and you can use as many or as little as you want. As long as your
03:00 top knot is feeling secure, you're good to go.
03:03 And that is the final look. These are personally my favourite and go-to hairstyles when I'm
