00:00 Hi everyone, today I'm going to show you how to achieve a Kim Kardashian look.
00:06 Now this is sort of something that I call like an everyday glamour, so it's not too
00:12 over the top but it's still got elements of glamour in it.
00:16 So you've still got the dark eyes, the lips going on and you've still got a lot of, as
00:22 you can tell with her, you've got loads and loads of contouring and highlighting.
00:26 So I've tried to make this as simple as I can because it is a lot of makeup but I've
00:32 tried to really simplify the steps just to show you how easy a Kim Kardashian look is
00:37 to achieve.
00:38 Okay, so I'm on my iPad just looking at the different Kim Kardashian makeups and just
00:45 you can see that some of her traits are the massively huge amount of contour and highlighting
00:52 that she's got going on, always has those thick lashes, the dark around the eye and
00:59 normally quite a dark nude lip.
01:03 Okay, this is where it's going to look really scary so please don't be scared.
01:07 So using the Ben Nye Media Pro palette, I'm just going to take a really dark creamy concealer
01:12 down here, just using my ring finger.
01:16 I'm just going to drag this from in line with the tip of the ear down to just underneath
01:21 the pupil.
01:22 That's also just going to go down the side of the nose, so starting at the brow, bringing
01:28 that straight down to the tip of the nose, in this temple area here and along the jawline.
01:36 Okay, already looking a little bit scary but now onto the concealer.
01:41 She does have sort of a really pale yellow based highlighter so I'm going to go for this
01:49 top one here.
01:50 It's just got a little bit more of a yellow to it so I'm just going to change fingers
01:56 onto my middle finger and this is going to go across the top of the cheekbones, under
02:03 that eye area in that triangular shape, down the centre of the nose, the chin, the lip
02:15 and in a triangle shape at the top here.
02:20 Okay this is where it all blends together.
02:22 So I'm going to take the Clinique Even Better foundation and this is in the colour Ivory.
02:26 Now she is a lot darker skinned than myself so I'm going to have to be doing a lot of
02:35 mixing here to get this together.
02:38 So I'm just going to pat this across in those other areas where we don't have any highlight
02:46 or concealer.
02:49 Using the Real Techniques stippling brush, this is where it's going to blend in together.
02:53 So we're just going to start with small circular motions across the top of the head and as
02:59 you move along you can see that they're just blending in nicely.
03:04 So you're still not losing that contouring and highlighting area but they are blending
03:12 in with your foundation.
03:20 Okay so I'm going to straighten up just underneath here, bring them down at a soft angle and
03:42 then I'm going to really thicken these up with a shadow.
03:46 So I'm just going to take Charcoal Brown by MAC in a brow brush and I'm sweeping that
03:50 through the brow, angling that off.
04:00 I'm just going to sharpen up the front here too.
04:07 Okay for the eyes her favourites seem to be the brines, just graduating into a slightly
04:11 darker brine to angle off the eyes.
04:14 So I'm going to take the Charcoal Brown by MAC just in the corner of the eye and Wedge
04:25 by MAC for the rest of the eye.
04:27 So first of all just taking Wedge on a fluffy brush, just cover the whole lid.
04:34 Then onto the Charcoal Brown, I'm going to make a V shape in the outer corner of the
04:39 eye, so just starting from the lash line up towards in line with the brow and back around
04:48 on the crease line.
04:49 I'm going to take that same colour just on a small round brush and that's just going
04:56 to come underneath the eye.
04:59 We're going to take this nearly all the way across, just avoiding that tip area.
05:07 Okay just blending this out now with a fluffy brush and then adding our highlight.
05:12 I'm going to use Nylon and a small round brush for this, so just taking this on the inside
05:18 of the eye because for her highlights she does stick to the more golden colours.
05:26 Nylon has got the flecks of the gold in it.
05:28 I'm also going to take this under the brow bone and also on the cupid's bow.
05:37 Okay last bit for the shadow, I'm just taking a black shadow, this is just from the Sedona
05:41 Lace palette and a small angled brush.
05:47 I'm going to take this just on the outer part of the lower lash line here and the same on
05:54 top.
05:56 Then using the L'Oreal Super Liner in black, we're going to line the whole of the top lash
06:00 line.
06:01 So just starting at the inner corner and dragging this all the way along and continuing with
06:10 that flick.
06:14 For the lashes I'm going to use the Lancome Hypnose in black and I'm going to apply a
06:19 layer of this to both the top and the bottom lashes.
06:30 And then going to apply a second layer to this to really make those lashes stand up
06:35 and if you do have smaller or thinner lashes do feel free to use an eyelash curler at this
06:41 point or even before you put your mascara on in the first place because your eyelashes
06:46 can become just slightly more brittle after you've applied mascara.
06:52 To finish off these eyes I'm taking the eyelashes by Get Lashed and these are just end lashes
07:00 or half lashes.
07:09 Finally I'm taking Jubilee by MAC for the lips.
07:17 And a lip gloss, this is by Beautique, I think this is just a cheap lip gloss that I've got
07:22 and this has got a gold fleck in so I'm just going to pop this into the middle of the lip.
07:28 Okay everyone, that is the finished look.
07:33 So it's a lot of makeup but very easy, simple to apply steps so I really hope that I didn't
07:40 make that too complicated for you.
07:42 But yes, thank you everybody for watching and I'll speak to you all soon.
07:45 Bye!
