Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced founder of Theranos, has been ordered to report to prison and serve her over 11-year sentence at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas. The prison facility, known as FPC Bryan, is a minimum-security women's prison home to more than 500 inmates, primarily those convicted of non-violent and white-collar crimes. Holmes, who grew up in Texas, will join other inmates in dormitory-style accommodations and be expected to work, earning between 12 cents and $1.15 an hour. Once hailed as a successful entrepreneur, Holmes started Theranos and raised millions of dollars based on false claims about the company's technology. She was also ordered to pay $452 million to the victims of her fraud.
