Sprott Launches ETFs For Clean Energy Minerals

  • last year
Sprott Asset Management, a subsidiary of Sprott Inc., has launched four Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) focused on providing investors with exposure to critical minerals essential for clean energy generation, transmission, and storage. The four funds are Sprott Energy Transition Materials ETF, Sprott Lithium Miners ETF, Sprott Junior Uranium Miners ETF, and Sprott Junior Copper Miners ETF. These ETFs aim to offer convenient and liquid exposure to mining companies involved in critical minerals that are expected to experience increasing demand due to global carbon emissions reduction mandates. The funds track indices developed by Sprott Asset Management in partnership with Nasdaq, which will also list the ETFs on its exchange. Sprott believes that mining companies focused on energy transition minerals are well-positioned to benefit from significant investments in the coming decades. These four ETFs complement Sprott's existing energy transition fund suite, which includes the Sprott Uranium Miners ETF and Sprott Physical Uranium Trust.
