The Chequers - album Check us out 1976

Mostly unknown Afro-Carribean British group from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The group was formed around 1973 and came to their debut album "Check us out" three years later. The sound was rooted in reggae and soul with solid Philly funky-soul influences as well as some disco.
