Thailand vs Vietnam ( Sea Games 2023 ): 1-1

The U-22 Thailand national team was only able to hold Vietnam's U-22 national team to 1 draw in the final match of the 2023 SEA Games Group B qualifying. This final match took place at Visakha Stadium, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Thursday (11/5/2023). Thailand took an early lead through a goal scored by Achitpol Keereerom in the 2nd minute. The Vietnam U-22 team managed to reply through a goal scored by Quoc Nhat Nam Le in the 56th minute. Despite the draw, Thailand is certain to emerge as the winner of Group B of the 2023 SEA Games even though they have the same seven points. Thailand won Group B because of the superior goal difference. That way, Vietnam will face the Indonesian U-22 national team in the semifinals of the 2023 SEA Games.
