Voting is being conducted in Karnataka for 224 assembly seats. BJP is aiming for a second term while Congress is hoping to turn the tables this time. JDS, which dominates over 61 seats, may play the spoiler in Karnataka. BS Yediyurappa, Basavaraj Bommai, Nirmala Sitharaman and other leaders cast their votes. Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, “Karnataka's vote... for 5 guarantees, for women's rights, for youth employment, for the upliftment of the poor. Come, vote in large numbers.” The results will be declared on May 13.
