Coinbase Retracts Decision to Move Overseas Despite Regulatory Uncertainty

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has reiterated his criticism of SEC Chair Gary Gensler, saying the agency is on a "lone crusade" against crypto companies. Armstrong added that while the US is behind in regulatory clarity, Coinbase has no plans to move its headquarters overseas. He also stated that the company is interested in increasing its investments in other countries, including the United Arab Emirates. The SEC had earlier sent a Wells Notice to Coinbase alleging that it was selling unregistered securities to investors, a claim that Coinbase denies.
