00:00 Hi guys, it's Lindsay and today I'm going to be talking about my MAC palette.
00:04 This is my favorite eyeshadow palette of all time.
00:06 I absolutely love it and I'm constantly getting questions about what shadows I have in here
00:10 and which ones I would recommend.
00:12 So I thought I would just make a video talking about all of them.
00:15 I'll be going over each of the shades individually and telling you which ones are my absolute
00:19 favorites and my favorite uses for each of them.
00:22 So yeah, without further ado, let's get right on into it.
00:25 So starting with the lightest color, this is Nylon.
00:28 Nylon is a super pigmented, very metallic white gold color.
00:32 It is super intense and I pretty much only use this for highlighting my inner corners,
00:37 which is what I did today.
00:39 And as you can tell, it is very brightening.
00:41 This is my favorite color to do that with and it leans more yellow, which I find more
00:44 flattering on my skin tone.
00:45 So yeah, that is my favorite inner corner highlight.
00:48 Next to that is Blanc Type, which is a matte off-white color.
00:51 This is my absolute favorite color for putting on the brow bone.
00:54 It is so creamy and pigmented and it's just the perfect shade for my skin tone.
01:01 Next we have Brûlée and this is a slightly darker version of Blanc Type.
01:07 And I find that Brûlée almost exactly matches my skin tone, so I'll use this for maybe dusting
01:13 all over my eye before starting an eye look to set primer or with a fluffy brush to fix
01:18 any mistakes I made while blending out darker eyeshadows.
01:21 But for the most part, that doesn't really show up on my skin, but it is also just a
01:25 really nice creamy matte color.
01:26 Next we have a super popular one and this is Naked Lunch.
01:29 Naked Lunch is a very light champagne.
01:32 It is on the slightly cooler side and it has a bit of shimmer in it, but it's very, very
01:36 minimal.
01:37 It's a very subtle color.
01:38 And I used to wear this on the lid of my eye every day with eyeliner, but for some reason
01:43 I haven't really been liking it as much as I used to.
01:46 Sometimes I'll use it on the inner corner, fading into a darker color, but it's not one
01:51 I reach for all the time.
01:52 But if you're a fan of champagnes, you'll probably like that one.
01:55 Next to that is All That Glitters and this is also a very popular champagne from MAC.
01:59 The difference with this one is it's a bit more peachy and a bit more gold, so it just
02:03 has a bit of a warmer effect compared to Naked Lunch and I think that's why I prefer it.
02:08 Also the texture is a lot creamier on All That Glitters compared to Naked Lunch.
02:12 On to the next row.
02:13 This is actually kind of a cheater color.
02:16 This is Urban Decay Naked, which I de-potted and put in my MAC eyeshadow palette.
02:21 So that kind of messes everything up, but it's an exact dupe for MAC Kid, which I believe
02:27 was discontinued.
02:28 So I keep this in here because this is my favorite, favorite crease color.
02:33 It is not too cool, it is not too warm, it is great as an all-over lid color.
02:38 I do that on pretty much an everyday basis.
02:40 As you can tell, I've used so much of this product.
02:43 Next we have Soft Brown, which is another like mid-tone brown blending shade, but this
02:48 one is a lot warmer and it leans fairly orange.
02:51 Anytime I'm doing a slightly darker eye makeup look, I always use this in the crease to transition
02:57 in between a dark lid color and a light brow bone color because it is just perfect and
03:02 the warmness just makes it look very natural.
03:05 Don't be intimidated by the fact that it's kind of orange because it looks a lot less
03:09 weird on.
03:10 Next to that we have Charcoal Brown and this one is not showing up as dark as it is, but
03:15 this is a nice, slightly darker mid-tone brown.
03:18 For some reason it looks cool in the pan, but it's actually a pretty warm color and
03:23 I like using this if I'm going for like a matte, all-browns look or something.
03:27 It's good for deepening up the crease without going too dark and the texture of the shadow
03:32 is amazing as well.
03:33 I just got it recently.
03:34 Next to that is another shimmery color.
03:35 This is Wood Winked.
03:37 Wood Winked is a very intense bronze color.
03:40 It is so pretty and it has kind of like a color shift in it, so it goes from like kind
03:44 of a lighter bronze to like a dark, kind of like burnt orange bronze.
03:49 Like whenever you blend it out you kind of can get two colors from it, which is really
03:52 interesting and hard to explain.
