TUESDAY TUTORIAL (For Hooded Eyes) - PEACHY BRONZE

00:00 Hi everyone, it's me Jess. So today's makeup tutorial is this peachy bronzy look. Some
00:13 of you wanted to see that, John wanted to see it and I think I wore something similar
00:18 in my last Friday, well not the Friday just gone, Friday before that. Something similar
00:28 like this and a lot of you said that you really liked it so I thought I'd recreate it. This
00:34 one is with fake lashes but you don't have to use the fake lashes and oh yeah let me
00:40 just tell you because every time I do those videos and you hear all the birds, everybody
00:46 asks if I have birds in the house. No I don't, this is all outside. I'm sitting right in
00:52 front of the window and I always have the window open and we've got loads of trees outside
00:58 so we have loads of birds. Ok so if you want to see how this is done keep on watching.
01:05 Ok so first I'm going to take Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze and this is going
01:12 to act as my primer as well so I'm not using any other primer. Just go with the brush and
01:23 put it all over your mobile lid. So go right under that socket bone or right on it. Ok.
01:43 I'm going to use quite a few eyeshadows today. So the first one I'm going to use is from
01:52 Sonia Kashuk's Eye On Neutral palette and I'm going to take this peach one. You've seen
02:02 it back to front in this camera but when you're, if you've got this palette and you open it
02:08 you will know which one it is because this is the only one that is peachy like this.
02:12 So I'm taking that one on a E45 big blending brush and just above my socket bone, quite
02:22 high up. Just leave a bit of room under your eyebrow. I'm just going to put that peach
02:34 colour. Now I'm going to take, I've got a few shadows in my Z palette, I'm going to
02:41 take this one and this is my Cover Geek Cocoa Bear. It's like a brick colour, sort of reddy
02:47 brown and these colours are very nice for blue eyes. My Sigma E45, did I say that was
03:00 E45? I wasn't. And I'm going to go on the top of my bone, you know where you find your
03:16 crease, my hoodies. Ok. Now I'm going to take, which I haven't used yet, that Wet n Wild
03:39 Photo of Eyeshadow Fergie Centre Stage Collection, the one that has those two oranges. Very scary
03:47 but I'm going to use it today. So first I'm going to use this lighter one which is quite
03:52 shimmery and all I'm doing is going on in the same place as I used the Cocoa Bear. Now
04:00 I'm going that darker orange. You would be surprised, you can take so many colours and
04:07 just keep putting them on top of each other in that crease and it creates very individual
04:13 and different look that no one else has. So just play with those. Ok now I'm going to
04:22 take again the Sonia Kashuk with my blending brush and blend it out a bit. Now I'm going
04:31 to take MAC's Expensive Pink and I know it's called Expensive Pink but to me this is not
04:38 very pink, it's quite peachy. Where is my brush? I'll take Real Techniques Shading Brush
04:50 and I go over that Maybelline Colour Tattoo. Can you see it gives you this beautiful peachy
05:03 goldy shimmer. And now I'm going to use another makeup geek which is Mocha, very dark brown
05:24 just to darken the outer V. And now I'm going to do the bottom lashes and for my bottom
05:39 lashes I will take a little skinny angled brush, it doesn't have to be angled, it can
05:45 be straight but you know one of those liner brushes. Go again into On and On Bronze and
05:56 use it as my primer under my lower lashes. Then with the same brush I'm going to go into
06:09 Coco Bear again and go over that with the Coco Bear. Then on a pencil brush I'm going
06:24 to go into that peachy one from Sonia Kashuk and go sort of over and underneath this. And
06:35 now I will do my black eyeliner on the top and you could use a brown one if you wanted,
06:42 you can just use brown pencil liner. I'm going to use Bobbi Brown Black Ink which I hate,
06:55 it's dried out almost completely but I need to order my Inglot. I just use these ones
07:06 a lot, you know the felt tip ones so I never think to order this one. But I will just use
07:13 it because it's quite easy, it's more difficult to make mistake with that. So I'm just using
07:21 it as a template and then I will go over it with Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid
07:48 Eyeliner. If you ever buy this eyeliner it is very good, it's very black. I've had it
07:58 for ages and you know it's got still plenty of juice in there. Just remember one thing,
08:06 the tip, I don't know if you can see, it goes a bit fluffy so it's more difficult to make
08:13 very sharp point. And on the bottom lashes I'm going to use dark brown pencil liner,
08:35 this dark black might be a bit too much. Mine is Lord & Berry in Mink but I need. And sort
08:47 of go in a lash line and waterline. And now what's left, oh yeah let me just highlight
08:54 a bit. So I will use MAC Rice Paper and just highlight under my brow a tiny bit and maybe
09:09 here. And now just mascara and today I'm using Rimmel Scandal Eyes Retro Glam, I don't know
09:17 why I just pulled that one out. The brush is massive so, it's a nice mascara but massive
09:25 so don't cause yourself any injury. And for my blush I already put it on, I've used today
09:36 the Milani Baked Blush in Rose D'Oro. It's a beautiful peach with a bit of gold in it.
09:51 Actually you probably could use that in your crease as well, I didn't think of that. And
09:56 for my lips what I used today was NYX in Natural. Didn't really know what to use for my lips,
10:05 didn't want it to be too orange. For my lipstick I used the Kardashian Lip Liner and Lipstick
10:11 but I've only used the lipstick bit and you know it was in that Nude Lip Collection that
10:18 came with the gloss but it doesn't say the colour of it. I've got it on my blog, I'm
10:26 sure it will say where it is there but I think it's the Chloe one. So I put that all over
10:31 my lips, love it by the way, it's lovely. And then I used the Charlotte Tilbury Gloss
10:38 in Blondie on top of it. Which is not a hit. And that could be you done but then suddenly
10:57 your girlfriend calls you and says "Let's go dancing" and you think "Yeah my makeup's
11:03 ok but let's zhuzh it up and put some fake lashes on". So the fake lashes that I have
11:10 are Red Cherries number 43 and they are massive. I don't mean just long, I mean they were massive
11:21 that way. I think they were made for Daisy the cow. So I had to cut the end, quite a
11:28 lot of it at the end. So I need to go and get my glue, I forgot my glue. So let's put
11:36 the lashes, I mean they are massive. I tell you there is no way I could go out with those
11:42 lashes to the supermarket but, which by the way I have to go to today so I will take them
11:48 off later. Yeah these are like when you are really going dancing and somewhere dark so
11:57 that really emphasises your eyes. Let me do the other one and I come back. So this is
12:21 the finished look with the lashes. Lashes make the difference, they really make your
12:27 eyes pop but like I said this is not something that I would wear everyday. I hope you enjoyed
