00:00 Hi, this is Lauren and today I'm going to teach you how to do makeup for small brown eyes
00:05 So I'm going to go through and explain how I did that so first of all I put a
00:11 Eyeshadow base all over my eyelid my first step after that is I'm going to go ahead and put on
00:18 my main eyeshadow color, and I'm going to do this with
00:23 This brush here. I'm going to focus mainly on using sort of light colors
00:29 Darker colors tend to make your eyes look more sunken in
00:33 And especially for small eyes it can be a problem because it'll make them look too dark around this area
00:40 And they'll look even smaller than they already are definitely stick to a lighter set of colors
00:45 So for this look I'm going to use this sort of shimmery light pinkish color. I'm going to put it on this brush and
00:52 Apply it all over my lid up into the crease
00:57 This will just give me some brightness
00:59 And it'll actually make my eye pop a little bit because of the glitter and the shimmer that's in it
01:06 It'll be more eye-catching
01:08 So I'm going to follow this with
01:10 using
01:11 This brush here
01:13 I'm going to put it in a very light brown color and what I'm going to do here is I'm going to
01:19 Use this for this outer darkness right there just to sort of shape my eye a little bit
01:26 But what I'm going to do differently than I normally would is I'm going to put it a little bit above my crease
01:32 and this is because
01:34 People with small eyes tend to have a crease that is very small
01:39 And we want to give the illusion that your crease is a little bit higher
01:43 So that your eyes look a little bigger and the space
01:46 For this light pinkish color here looks looks bigger than it really is
01:51 So I'm just going to take this
01:54 And just go very slightly above my crease
01:58 I'm going to stop about right here, and I'm going to go out a little more than I would normally go out to
02:07 I'm just going to scoop that back into my lash line there
02:11 I'm then going to take the eyeshadow brush that I had before put it in a little more of that pinkish color
02:17 I'm just going to use it to blend it in a little bit
02:23 Because again, we don't want it too dark. We just want to keep it sort of light
02:28 I'm just going to keep going back and forth until I feel like they're
02:31 Well blended. I'm actually going to use this brush here to blend it even more
02:37 and to blend it I'm going to put it in a very light matte skin color and
02:44 I'm just going to kind of outline
02:47 What I did so far in this color
02:53 I
02:55 Need you to blend out that brown and
02:58 Then I'm going to take that same brush that I used for the matte
03:03 Light skin color, and I'm going to actually put it in
03:07 White so I'm just going to take a little bit of white and kind of dab it off
03:11 So it's not too strong you have to use it sparingly because you don't want it to be too stark on your skin
03:17 And what I'm going to do is I'm going to highlight my brow
03:21 And blend it into what I've already done on my eyeshadow
03:24 Then I'm just going to take a little bit and put a pop of highlight right here
03:31 So my next step is I'm going to do my brows a little bit
03:35 and I've already started this process by putting this white right here along my brow bone and
03:41 having well-groomed brows and
03:44 Putting a little highlight right here of white and you can put a little bit right there as well
03:50 Will actually make your eyebrows look higher and if your eyebrows look higher on your face
03:55 Then your eyes will actually look bigger because it'll again seem like there's more room there, okay?
04:01 so that makes my brows seem a little bit higher so my eye space looks a little bit bigger and
04:06 Now I'm going to do a very thin winged eyeliner
04:10 And I'm doing the winged liner again because I want to actually make my eye look
04:16 Bigger this way as well. We're not only
04:19 Trying to make your eye look big this way, but this way and that winged liner will help it
04:25 Seem a little bit longer. I'm just going to start off as small as I can with this
04:31 It's easy to get carried away too fast with eyeliner
04:37 So you just want to be really patient with it and just start off small
04:44 Getting really close to the lash line making sure that they're not any gaps in the lash line
04:50 So I'm going to go over one more time what I did just to smooth everything out and fill it in
05:13 So that's a pretty smoothed out and
05:15 Pretty thin winged liner you could even go thinner if you want
05:21 Depending on the size of your eyes what I'm going to show you how to do is
05:26 To make your eye look really big is to do this white eyeliner here
05:32 and
05:34 What I'm going to do is I'm going to take my white eyeliner, and I'm going to take this and put it in my waterline
05:41 I'm going to go below into my lash line
05:43 And just go up a little bit
06:07 And what this does is it actually
06:10 makes the whites of your eyes look bigger and what we're going to do is we're going to create a new lash line there and
06:18 Make it look like this is your bottom lash line and your eyes are actually much bigger, so I'm going to take my
06:26 Darker eyeliner, and I'm going to just draw myself a new lash line
06:31 (no audio)
06:33 (no audio)
07:01 And then to finish it off. I'm going to just put on my mascara on my top lashes here
07:07 And I'm going to put it on my bottom lashes, but I'm not I'm only going to put it on the very ends of them
07:17 Because I want the tops of them to still look white
07:21 And so here's the final look
07:25 This is a few ways that you can make your small brown eyes look bigger and having brown eyes you can use a wide variety
07:32 of colors
07:34 anything from a lot of golds I think look really pretty on brown eyes and
07:38 Green and earth tone colors would be great for this kind of look because you can find those in more lighter
07:46 And bright shades so good luck with that and thank you so much for watching
07:52 I really hope you learned something and you can check out the link in the description below to find more makeup videos and tips
07:58 Thanks. Bye
