00:00 Hey everyone, so I didn't have time to film an intro, otherwise I would have been late
00:03 for work, so I just jumped right in.
00:05 I'm starting off by prepping my face.
00:07 I'm about to put on lip balm now, but what I was using at first was Lush's Aroma Toner
00:11 Water Spray.
00:12 It's got rose and lavender in it and it really helps even out my skin tone, which is what
00:16 I need right now.
00:17 Then I'm going in with this really nice moisturizer from France.
00:22 My BFF Mariah got it for me when she was visiting there, and I'll link it down below.
00:27 I can't even read what's on the packaging, but the company will probably have it online.
00:31 It smells really chocolatey, which I thought I wouldn't like, but I ended up really liking
00:35 it and it makes my skin feel really, really nice and smooth, so that's good.
00:40 I'm just taking this little sample of a Victoria's Secret face primer that I have.
00:44 I don't really believe in primers, but I put it on because it does kind of give me a little
00:50 bit of a glow, but I put it on because I had a lot of bumps on my skin from all the blemishes
00:54 and I thought it would help even that out, which it didn't.
00:57 My belief that primers are pointless persists.
01:01 I'm just mixing two shades of a luminous foundation right now.
01:07 Mixing it on the back of my hand with my Real Techniques sponge.
01:10 I'm using that damp as always.
01:12 You got to use that sponge damp or else it'll soak up all your products.
01:16 Plus, when you use it damp, it kind of helps make the foundation more luminous.
01:23 I'm just patting that all over my face.
01:28 This eye look is going to be like a metallic sunset look.
01:32 I really liked the way it came out, but of course I was rushing to work, so I didn't
01:36 have time to take a good picture of it.
01:38 I'll just have to redo this as a tutorial, but for now, this will do.
01:43 Getting up and going somewhere.
01:44 Okay, I'm back.
01:46 I'm adding green concealer.
01:47 The one I'm holding is by Chanel, but Chanel's a huge offender in terms of animal cruelty
01:53 and testing their products on animals, so one that I'd recommend to you is by NYX.
01:57 It's drugstore price.
01:58 It works great.
02:00 I just have this one because...
02:02 I mean I'm just using this one because I have it and I'm trying to get rid of it.
02:09 So I decided that the consistency wasn't good for whatever bump blemishy thing I had on
02:14 my chin, so I was just going in with my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, which worked
02:20 better, but wasn't perfect as you'll see because I make a face right now.
02:26 See?
02:27 There's my face.
02:29 So then I'm just wiping the remainder underneath my eyes because I always conceal underneath
02:34 my eyes when I'm doing a full face makeup.
02:37 So yeah.
02:40 Just going in with a little bit more foundation because I have to put an extra layer where
02:46 the green concealer is and where the regular concealer is because it's not even my skin
02:50 tone.
02:51 Plus I wanted more coverage in those areas.
02:55 Then I'm going in with my concealer again to conceal underneath my eyes and a little
02:59 bit in my T-zone.
03:03 Blending that in with the pointy end of my Real Techniques sponge.
03:13 Rapid fire concealer blending.
03:20 Also throughout this video I try and show you the products I'm using, but I'm still
03:24 really bad at that.
03:25 So that was NYX, yeah there's a cloud of powder in my face when I open it, so that's why I
03:30 was making that face.
03:31 But that's a NYX finishing, photogenic finishing powder, setting powder, whatever, finishing
03:38 powder.
03:39 And I'm using it with a Real Techniques powder brush.
03:44 The compact I'm holding is Mary Lou Manizer by the Balm.
03:46 I'm just using it as a mirror.
03:47 I'm not actually putting that on my face right now.
03:51 So this is just kind of mattifying my foundation a bit, but not too much.
03:55 That's Milani's Shadow Eye Stick in number 10 Almond Cream.
04:00 If you like using things like MAC's Painterly Paint Products eyeshadow bases and primers,
04:05 this is a great cruelty free alternative and I'm blending that out with a synthetic brush.
04:14 It's supposed to be crease proof and wear for 12 hours, which I found to be true.
04:19 It made my eyeshadow last all day, every time that I've used it.
04:24 Now I'm using an Inglot, oh my god I suck at showing the products because my camera
04:30 doesn't even focus, but whatever, that's another issue.
04:34 So it's an Inglot eyebrow pencil and I'm just filling in my brows, which I'm going to go
04:39 back in and fill in more later because they weren't dark enough for the look.
04:44 So I'm going in with the Pinky Crease Shade from the Wet n Wild Poster Child Palette on
04:50 the Inglot blending brush.
04:53 Inglot is a cruelty free brand.
04:55 That brush I believe is from Real Animal Hair, so that technically isn't cruelty free, but
05:00 if I'm going to use one of those brushes I'd rather it be from a brand that does not test
05:05 their other products on animals.
05:06 Then I'm going with the Poster Child Palette from Wet n Wild again and using the yellow
05:13 shade on the brow bone.
05:15 And these two colors actually work really nicely with the look that I'm doing because
05:20 the look is very orange and it made it look like very sunsetty.
05:28 So yeah, just fixing that up a bit.
05:35 That's an ELF eyeshadow brush, which is really good and it's only a dollar.
05:39 Now this is a Rimmel pencil, I'll link it down below what the name is, it's just an
05:45 orange shade that I'm going to be using as a color base on top of the Milani Shadow Eye
05:50 Stick that I used to prime.
05:59 And I'm just wiping that onto that synthetic brush and sweeping it onto the eyelid.
06:06 Just the lid, because I don't want to cover up the stuff that I did in the crease before.
06:11 Okay, so this is an Inglot Trio eyeshadow, it is shimmery and I'll link the name down
06:20 below.
06:21 It's the orange one from the Rainbow Palette Collection thing.
06:24 Now I'm using the lightest shade and doing it on the inner third of my eye plus the inner
06:29 corner.
06:34 Yeah.
06:43 That's on the ELF eyeshadow brush again.
06:45 Then I'm taking the darkest shade and doing the same thing but on the outer third of my
06:50 eye.
06:53 Not blending them together because I'm going to put the middle shade in the center of my
06:57 eyelid, but not even taking it up to the crease, you know, just leaving it on the lid.
07:05 Then I'm taking Inglot's Duraline, sorry can you hear the thunderstorms?
07:15 So I'm squeezing a drop of it onto my hand and taking a very tiny bit and then dipping
07:23 it into the center shade in that Inglot shadow and patting it on the lid and it makes it
07:30 look so much more metallic and beautiful when the brush is wet with the Duraline.
07:38 I spent 10 euros on that, I bought it when I was abroad.
07:43 I haven't tried this with like eye drops or anything, but I mean most people use like
07:49 setting sprays for this, like they'll use Mac Fix Plus, which I don't recommend because
07:54 I don't recommend Mac because they're not cruelty free, or they'll use Urban Decay Chill
07:59 Setting Spray and they'll spray the brush with it.
08:03 Duraline is cheaper and I love the way it works.
08:06 As far as getting really cheap with it, you could try eye drops.
08:10 I'm going to try that in the near future and let you know how it works.
08:14 So then I'm curling my lashes and I'm using a black gel liner and there's still a little
08:22 bit of Duraline on the back of my hand.
08:24 Since my gel liner, I think I got a dry one or something, I don't know, but if your gel
08:27 liner is kind of dry, you can use the Duraline.
08:32 Just don't put it directly, don't try to revive it by mixing Duraline in there, just dip your
08:37 brush in the Duraline and then dip it in the gel liner or vice versa.
08:46 Always using a tray or the back of your hand or something.
08:49 And I'm using a paintbrush from the craft store to do this.
08:53 I just find that it works so much easier for me than an angled brush, like the kind of
09:01 brush that you'd use to do your brows.
09:03 I feel like that one you can't get as much precision.
09:06 You can use that one if you're more into stamping on your eyeliner, which I know a lot of people
09:11 find easier, but I really prefer to drag my brush and glide the eyeliner on.
09:17 And the Duraline really helps with that as well.
09:24 So I'm just getting used to gel liner, so it really takes me forever.
09:27 I don't think anybody is really quick with it, to be honest.
09:32 I'm a lot quicker with liquid, but I don't know, I just like the way gel liner comes
09:37 out when you take your time with it, so I've been using it lately.
09:40 So back in with the poster child palette, I love using these shades as transition colors
09:49 for blending out.
09:50 See, I'm just putting it underneath my eye just to kind of match the crease because they
09:57 give like a light wash of color, so they're really good for blending other colors out,
10:04 or putting them down as a base transition color type thing.
10:08 So now I'm just going to match my lid on the lower lash line.
10:13 So I'm taking the lightest color and putting it on the bottom inner corner, then I'm taking
10:19 the middle color, oh, yes, the middle color and putting it in the middle of the bottom
10:25 lash line there.
10:26 I'm just using like a regular angled brush for this, and then I'm taking the darkest
10:31 color and putting it on the end and blending it just a little bit.
10:37 And that's a Julep Kajal Eye Glider.
10:41 It's got a black end and a brown end.
10:43 I'm using the black end.
10:45 This is the most amazing eyeliner ever.
10:47 I'll link it down below for sure.
10:49 Then I'm taking Jordana Best Lash Extreme, and I ended up hating it for my bottom lashes
10:53 because it was just a bit too juicy, you know what I'm saying?
10:57 Too liquidy.
10:58 So then I took a mascara that's a bit drier, the Collection 5-in-1 Does It All Mascara,
11:03 and I'm doing my bottom lashes.
11:10 I just hate when my bottom lashes come out too spidery and the goopiness of the mascara,
11:16 it just attaches itself in clumps to the bottom lashes.
11:20 Who even likes that?
11:22 No one.
11:23 Now I'm just filling in my brows a little bit more because I decided that the eye makeup
11:27 was way too intense for the thin, skinny brows that I had drawn in.
11:30 So I'm just going back in with that Inglot pencil.
11:34 And then I'm using the cap of the pencil, which has a little brush on it, to brush out
11:38 the inner parts of my brows.
11:40 So that is a Cargo Blush.
11:41 I made that face because I knew my camera wasn't focusing.
11:44 It's in the shade, I believe Laguna.
11:46 I'll link it down below.
11:47 But it's a nice orange blush, which goes with my eye makeup.
11:52 I was running late, so I didn't blend it out super well at all, but that's a Real Techniques
11:57 blush brush, which is great.
11:59 So yeah.
12:00 Oh, and I put on my work shirt, so there's a change.
12:08 So I'm using the same brush with some bronzer, and I'm kind of squeezing the brush to make
12:13 it more flat.
12:17 And using that to draw in my contour, putting a little bit on my forehead.
12:21 I usually put on my forehead, because if the cheek has a strong contour and there's none
12:25 on the forehead, it tends to look a bit strange.
12:29 So what am I doing now?
12:31 Just putting glue on my lashes.
12:33 I put a little too much there.
12:35 You could like see the thick white line.
12:38 The downside of that is you gotta let it wait.
12:41 You gotta wait longer for the glue to get tacky.
12:44 So I blew on it for a bit.
12:46 And then I realized that I put it on the wrong eye, but there was so much glue on there that
12:49 it didn't matter.
12:50 So I just took that right off and put it on the other eye.
12:52 These are lashes, they're Ardell 105 black lashes, and they fan out at the ends a bit,
12:58 so it matters which eye you put it on, because they're smaller in the center, like significantly.
13:05 I mean, yeah, they're smaller in the inner part significantly.
13:12 So yeah, there's the eye look.
13:16 And I'm going in with Too Faced Melted Liquid Long-Wearing Lipstick in the shade Violet,
13:23 I believe.
13:24 And I love this shade.
13:25 It's more of an orchid.
13:27 It is just so great with the goldy, orangey eye look.
13:35 And it really is long-wearing.
13:37 It's a bit drying, but not much.
13:40 No major complaints there.
13:41 So I like to layer my lip color on so it stays longer.
13:52 And then the applicator is a little bit difficult to work with.
13:54 They advertise it as like, you know, oh, like you don't have to use a brush anymore because
14:00 the applicator is a brush, but like, no.
14:04 Like it's not easier to work with.
14:06 TBH.
14:07 So those are my lips.
14:09 Oh, no, I'm not done.
14:11 All right, and here's my face.
14:15 And thanks for watching, guys.
14:19 Off to work now.
14:20 And I'll definitely see you later.
14:22 Hope you enjoyed.
14:23 See you next time.
14:24 Bye!
