00:00 Yay! You're watching again! Thank you! I appreciate it so much!
00:03 If you've been following my videos, you know I like to do the really blended, kind of more natural, soft looks.
00:09 So I decided to change it up and do more of a stark contrast with the dark crease and the light lids.
00:17 Just, again, a really standard fall, even winter, dramatic makeup look.
00:21 To begin, I'm going to apply my primer to my lids.
00:24 I'm using the Benefit Stay Don't Stray Primer.
00:28 One of my favorites.
00:31 And now I'm going to go right to my Lorac Pro Palette.
00:34 And I'm going to be using mostly just these matte colors.
00:37 I'm starting out by using Light Pink.
00:40 And I'm just going to apply that all over my lids up to my crease.
00:43 So I really want that nice, opaque color.
00:47 So I'm pressing the color into my lids.
00:50 So since I'm building darker colors on my crease, I want to start out with a couple of neutral colors.
00:56 I'm going to take Mauve here.
00:59 I know that some of you will say, "It's Mauve, it's not Mauve."
01:02 I like to say Mauve. Sorry.
01:04 So I'm going to take Mauve here, and I'm just going to apply that onto my crease.
01:09 All the way across.
01:12 Just so I'm not hitting that crease with dark colors right away, I want to slowly build it on.
01:20 I'm going to use one more neutral color for my crease before I start adding the really dark colors.
01:25 So I'm going to take Sable.
01:28 And I'm going to apply that just to the very outer part of my crease.
01:34 And now before I go any further, I'm going to take a blending brush and just blend out the edges.
01:42 If you blend with every step or every couple of steps, it just turns out to be a lot easier at the end.
01:49 And you get a much more clean, pretty look.
01:54 So now it's time to start with the dark colors.
01:57 So I'm going to take this concentrated, small, dense brush.
02:02 And I'm going to take Espresso, which is a nice matte, dark brown color.
02:07 And I'm going to begin applying this starting at the outer corner of my crease.
02:15 And kind of extending into the lash line a little bit.
02:20 And then just working my way across the crease.
02:25 I'm going to stop about halfway.
02:27 I don't want to extend the darker colors too far over because I don't want the dark to go into the inner corner of my eyes.
02:35 So I'm just going to stop about halfway and then blend the rest of it.
02:39 So I'm going to take this small blending brush and dip into Mauve once again.
02:44 And just use that to blend out that harsh edge.
02:51 Now I'm going to take an even smaller brush and I'm going to dip into Black, which is this matte shade up here.
02:58 And of course, I'm going to deepen that crease just a little bit more.
03:02 But I'm going to be really conservative with this color because, again, I only want that darkness to be at the outer corner and halfway across my crease.
03:10 So I'm just going to very carefully pat that color in.
03:16 So you see I'm kind of making a sideways V shape.
03:21 And I'm going to stop even shorter than the dark brown.
03:29 So being really careful with the way you apply the black.
03:33 Because if you're using a bigger brush or if you apply too liberally, all of a sudden you just have this big dark mess.
03:40 So I just want to keep it at the very outer corner, again, in that sideways V shape.
03:45 So once again, I'm going to take that blending brush.
03:49 And also be careful when you're blending because if you blend too hard, you can also spread that black too much.
03:58 So blending across.
04:03 Very delicate process.
04:05 So now I'm going to give this whole look one last blend just up at the edges.
04:12 And then we can move on to the liner.
04:15 For the liner, I'm going to take my Eyeko Liquid Metal Eyeliner in Black Onyx.
04:24 Now before I move on to the lashes, I want to deepen that lower lash line as well.
04:28 So I'm going to take a straight brush and I'm going to dip into Espresso here.
04:33 So I'm just going to go in and press this into my lash line.
04:40 Just to make it stand out more.
04:47 Now you can see I've got my false lashes on.
04:50 On the right eye already I used the House of Lashes Noir Fairy Style.
04:54 And now I'm going to apply the left.
04:58 Just going to lower these down onto my lash line.
05:02 Now I'm going to hold off on the bottom mascara just until I finish my foundation and concealer so it doesn't get in the way.
05:09 So I'm going to start out with my foundation.
05:18 I'm going to use my Alexa Prosecco Concealer to go under my eyes.
05:21 I'm just going to apply that from the entire under eye area down to my nose just for a little highlight.
05:34 And I'm actually going to go back to that pointed kabuki brush and use this to kind of just blend that out.
05:43 I love this brush.
05:53 And to set this I'm going to use my Laura Mercier Setting Powder just under my eyes.
06:00 And I'm going to bust out my Betty Luminizer as my bronzer.
06:09 And now for my blush. I'm actually going to be using a matte purple color for my blush.
06:15 I know that sounds kind of crazy but it's a really pretty color.
06:29 And we are almost done. The only thing that's left is the matte lips.
06:33 I'm going to be using the Maybelline Superstay 14 Hour Lipstick and the color is Beige for Good.
06:40 It's a nice neutral color and I think it goes really well with this color scheme.
06:51 So there it is. This is just another option for a nice dramatic but still wearable fall look.
06:58 I'm really liking this deep dark crease and then the much lighter lids.
07:03 It's a nice change from my usual blended, softer look.
07:07 So I'm loving it. I hope you guys love it too.
07:10 And if you did, give it a thumbs up.
07:12 And again, this was another suggestion. You guys were asking for a fall makeup look.
07:17 So if you have more suggestions, please leave them in the comments.
07:20 I read all the comments so don't think I'm not seeing them. It's just a lot of stuff.
07:25 So thank you again for being with me and I will see you guys next time.
07:29 Oh, and by the way, head over to the I Love Makeup channel to check out my four DIY Halloween makeup looks.
