Revenue from exports not enough for budget bottomline

The Treasurer has warned next week's budget will be weighed down by debt interest payments worth billions even as the bottom line is bolstered by healthy revenue from resource exports. The government will pour some of that money into the pacific preparing to unveil a new assistance package worth hundreds of millions of dollars in environmental, military, and economic support.
