00:25 parents in front of the school just asking for some news that they do not get.
00:32 Minutes ago, the Minister of Interior released a terrible, terrible statement about the number
00:39 of victims, about the count of victims.
00:42 As you just said, nine people were killed this morning, one guard of the school and
00:49 eight children, while the teacher of this very classroom is wounded and she is now under
00:57 surgery in an emergency hospital, as well as six other children.
01:03 So it's a terrible, it's a terrible event.
01:06 The shooting happened after one kid from this class opened fire, apparently with no reason.
01:14 He used a gun, a pistol that apparently belonged and was legally detained by his father.
01:22 The kid was, is described as a non-problematic kid, as a good, good pupil by the other students.
01:30 So there is absolutely no more information, no clue why this happened in Belgrade this
01:39 morning.
01:40 One more information which shall be said is that this kind of mass shooting is something
01:46 which extremely seldom happens in Serbia.
01:51 Last mass shooting was in 2015, eight years ago in the context of a family drama.
01:57 Despite it is quite easy for the population to have, to gain access to legal guns, there
02:03 are not these kinds of incidents in Serbia.
