00:02 Bread Chaat
00:15 Welcome to Sanjeev Kapoor Khasana
00:25 My name is Seema and today I am going to make Bread Chaat
00:29 If kids and family are fed up of boring sandwiches
00:32 Then you can make this chaat and impress them
00:36 And surprise them as well
00:38 We need
00:40 2-4 bread slices
00:43 Some boiled chickpeas
00:45 Sliced onion
00:46 Boiled potato
00:47 Sliced tomato
00:49 Roasted peanuts
00:51 Any mixed salt
00:53 Finely chopped sev
00:54 Chopped coriander
00:55 Chopped fresh coconut
00:57 Lemon juice
00:58 Tamarind pulp
00:59 Dry mango powder
01:00 Red chilli powder
01:01 Black salt
01:03 Roasted cumin powder
01:04 Chaat masala
01:06 First, we will mix all the spices in a small bowl
01:09 So that it is easy to add
01:11 Dry mango powder
01:17 Red chilli powder
01:20 Black salt
01:26 Roasted cumin powder
01:28 And chaat masala
01:32 After mixing all these, we will make a mixture of spices
01:38 After that, we will keep bread slices on a serving plate
01:46 We will cut the bread slices into 4 pieces
01:52 If you want, you can cut the sides as well
01:55 If you want, you can leave it
01:57 It is your wish
01:59 If you want, you can also take brown bread
02:13 This chaat will be a little healthier
02:15 In the evening, when kids come home
02:21 If they don't want to eat boring sandwiches
02:24 You can give them this chaat and impress them
02:27 On the bread slices
02:29 We will add tamarind pulp
02:35 If you have been to Calcutta
02:44 You will see that every chapati vendor has this bread chaat
02:49 Another way to make this is
02:52 To cut all the vegetables into small pieces
02:55 And put them in a container
02:57 And add the masala on top of the bread chaat
02:59 But I think the traditional way
03:01 In which we add the bread slices
03:03 Is more delicious
03:05 After adding the pulp, we will add the masala
03:08 And we will make this layer one by one
03:12 First, we will add the onions
03:20 We will add a little lemon juice on top of the onions
03:23 If you like spicy, you can add green chillies
03:32 Otherwise, red chillies and dry mango powder make it spicy
03:37 We will add a little masala on top of every layer
03:42 After this, we will add potatoes
03:47 We will add the tamarind pulp on top of the potatoes
03:49 We will add the tamarind pulp on top of the potatoes
04:08 We will add the masala on top of the potatoes
04:17 We have not used sweet chutney in this recipe
04:21 Because street food vendors in Calcutta
04:25 Don't use sweet chutney, they use tamarind pulp
04:29 If your kids like sweet, you can use sweet chutney instead of pulp
04:34 After this, we will add the tomato slices
04:41 We will add the tomato slices on top of the potatoes
04:44 And then we will add the masala
04:50 We will not add tamarind on top of this
04:52 Because tomatoes are already sour
04:54 Then we will add the chickpeas
04:56 After that, we will add the salt
05:02 A little green coriander
05:10 A little lemon juice
05:12 We will add the masala once again
05:17 We will add the peanuts on top of this
05:21 Sev
05:25 And at last, we will add the coconut and garnish the chaat
05:39 Our chatpati bread chaat is ready
05:41 Anyone can eat this
05:43 You will get water in your mouth
05:45 Thank you for watching!
