00:10 today i m sharing with you a recipe of chole ki tarkari or poori with chole
00:18 1 cup or 250 gms chickpeas
00:23 soaked them overnight with 1/2 tsp soda
00:28 1 cup of soda and drained it in the morning and then washed it again and cooked it in a pressure cooker for 15 mins.
00:39 these are fully cooked and boiled chickpeas
00:46 and i have also added 1 glass of water in it which i have left in it to boil.
00:54 for this we need 1 tbsp red chilli powder
01:02 1 tbsp salt
01:07 if you want to add salt then add 1/2 tsp
01:11 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
01:17 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
01:20 1/2 tsp garam masala
01:22 some fresh curry leaves
01:27 1 tbsp fresh coriander and green chillies
01:34 1 tbsp garlic paste
01:37 1 tbsp cumin seeds
01:41 1 tbsp coriander seeds
01:46 dry roast it and then coarsely grind it
01:54 in a small bowl add 1/2 cup oil
02:02 in a pan dry roast cumin seeds and coriander seeds.
02:17 now grind it in a grinder or on a coarse grater.
02:31 add oil in it.
02:33 and 1 tbsp fried onions.i forgot to show you this.i fried it before so i put it in the fridge.
02:57 add curry leaves and mix it well.when you can smell the aroma of curry leaves add garlic paste.
03:08 now add garlic paste and fry it.
03:27 add all the spices except garam masala.
03:43 cook it for 2 minutes and then add the left over water from the chola.we will use the water from the chola.
04:01 now add chola in it.
04:08 mix it and cook it for 1 minute.
04:27,mix it and cook it for 1 minute.
04:38 add the left over water from the chola.
04:44 add the roasted cumin and coriander powder.
04:55 mix it and cook it for 10,15 minutes on med flame.
05:12 and then add green chillies and coriander leaves.
05:20 chola tarkari is ready now add garam masala in it.
05:30 mix it and mash it with a potato masher.
05:50 add coriander leaves.
05:58 add green chillies.
06:00 add green chillies.
06:07 mix it and dum it for 2,3 minutes.
06:25 poori and tarkari is ready now.
