00:31 As we know, Soyabean is very nutritious.
00:33 Let's see how to make this tikki.
00:36 I am going to make Soya Tikki for two people.
00:41 For that I need Soya Bean Chunks which I have taken 1/4 cup.
00:46 1 1/2 cup boiled potatoes which I have grated.
00:54 1/4 cup chopped onion.
00:57 1/2 tsp chopped garlic.
01:01 Dry mint leaves.
01:07 2 1/2 tsp dried mint leaves.
01:10 1 tsp chopped ginger.
01:15 1 tsp chopped green chilli.
01:22 For spices, we will use simple spices.
01:24 1 tsp salt.
01:27 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
01:31 1/2 tsp garam masala.
01:33 Enough oil to fry the tikkis.
01:36 To make Soya Tikki, we will soak the Soya beans in hot water for 10 minutes.
01:46 You can see that they have swollen up after soaking.
01:50 Now we will strain them in a strainer to remove the water.
01:55 Now we will take them and squeeze the water out.
02:02 We have to squeeze the water out properly so that there is no water left in the beans.
02:07 Otherwise, the tikkis will not be good and can burst.
02:11 After drying them completely, we will put them in a strainer.
02:15 Again, we will keep them in a strainer for 10 minutes so that the water dries out.
02:20 After 10 minutes, we will grind them in a grinder so that the tikkis can be made easily.
02:30 You can see that we have grinded the Soya beans.
02:38 Now we will add boiled potatoes and all other ingredients like green chilli and ginger.
02:46 Finely chopped onion and garlic.
02:50 Mint leaves which are dry.
02:54 Salt, red chilli powder and garam masala.
02:56 Now we will mix them properly so that all the ingredients are mixed well.
03:05 Now we will make the tikkis.
03:08 Take some mixture in your hand and make a round tikki with both hands.
03:17 After making the round shape, press it slightly from the center and your tikkis are ready to fry.
03:26 Similarly, make all the tikkis with the remaining mixture.
03:32 Now to fry the tikkis, you have to add oil in a frying pan.
03:36 Add enough oil so that the tikkis can be half-dipped in it and heat it on high flame.
03:44 In 3-4 minutes, our oil has become hot.
03:49 Now we will put it on medium flame and put the tikkis in it.
03:55 Put it carefully.
03:57 Fry it on medium flame and make it golden brown from both sides.
04:04 When the tikkis become golden brown from below, flip it.
04:09 All the tikkis have become golden brown.
04:12 Now take them out from the oil.
04:14 Our soya tikkis are ready to eat.
