DOH: Dengue cases up by 94% in Q1 of 2023 | New Day

Dengue remains to be a major public health problem in the Philippines. Recent data from the Health Department show, cases in the first quarter of 2023 rose by ninety four-percent compared to the same period last year.

That translates to more than twenty seven thousand six hundred cases nationwide. MOst of the cases were reported in the National Capital Region followed by Central Luzon, and the Davao regions.

So what must really be done to prevent further spread of dengue?
