President Joe Biden has appointed Lady Gaga as co-chair of the revived Committee on the Arts and Humanities.
The committee took a five-year hiatus after being disbanded during Donald Trump’s presidency.
Biden signed an executive order to bring back the committee, which was originally created in 1982 under Ronald Reagan.
Gaga will co-chair the committee with producer Bruce Cohen, known for movies such as ‘American Beauty’ and ‘Silver Linings Playbook’.
The Grammy Award-winning pop star has always been a supporter of Biden’s presidency and even sang at his inauguration in 2021.
