The Mosque of Light in Al-Qouz is a unique mosque designed by Soumaya Dabbagh to honor the late businessman Mohammed Abdulkhaliq Gargash. With space for 1000 worshippers, the minimalist design features traditional Islamic calligraphy and a white stone façade. The skylight and dome add natural light to the serene atmosphere, providing a peaceful sanctuary away from the industrial area. Donated to the community in memory of Gargash's father, the mosque aims to inspire female architects to design public buildings, especially mosques.
