Jamshedpur Violence: Tension Grips Shastrinagar As Two Groups Clash Over Desecration Of Religious Flag

Two groups clashed in Shastrinagar, Jamshedpur allegedly due to desecration of a religious flag. Brick-batting was reported from the area. On April 9, prohibitory orders were issued under Section 144 of CrPC in the locality. An official told PTI that two shops & an auto-rickshaw were set ablaze. Police fired tear gas shells to disperse the warring groups. People have been advised to not share inflammatory posts on social media. Watch the video to know more.
