देशभर में धूमधाम के साथ ही हनुमान जयंती का पर्व मनाया जाता है. राम भक्त और हनुमान भक्त दोनों ही इस शुभ दिन को मनाते हैं और पूजा-पाठ करते हैं. मान्यता है कि चैत्र महीने की शुक्ल पक्ष की पूर्णिमा तिथि को ही भगवान हनुमान का जन्म हुआ था और इसलिए इस दिन को हनुमान जी के जन्मोत्सव के रूप में मनाया जाता है. इस साल हनुमान जयंती गुरुवार 6 अप्रैल को पड़ रही है.लेकिन श्री राम के जन्म के 6 दिन बाद क्यों जन्मे हनुमान जी चलिए बताते हैं.

The festival of Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated with pomp across the country. Both Ram devotees and Hanuman devotees celebrate this auspicious day and worship. It is believed that Lord Hanuman was born on the full moon day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month and hence this day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Hanuman ji. This year Hanuman Jayanti is falling on Thursday, 6th April. But why Hanuman ji was born 6 days after the birth of Shri Ram?
