Woman Does Amazing DIY Makeover of Front Yard
This woman did an amazing budget friendly DIY makeover of her front yard. She started by clearing the grass and plants from the soil bed. She then poured concrete around the edges of the walkway and attached smaller concrete slabs to it. To make the front yard look more elegant, she placed a large flower pot near the main entrance.

04:00 of that pulled out um what we're going to be doing
04:05 is pouring some concrete here and i honestly feel like i can do it
04:10 myself but antonio wants to get somebody to come do it i don't know why
04:14 it's really not a big area but hey whatever i'll show y'all the process but
04:18 so far we've gotten this pulled out they're getting that
04:21 mulch um put up that i dug out yesterday and then i'm gonna finish
04:25 clearing out this area
04:28 so then i also uh went and bought a huge boulder that you see here and i
04:37 like i said i opened up that bed and decided to put that down there just to
04:40 give it a little more interest and i also took the lights off of my
04:45 garage and decided to paint those as well just to brighten up the
04:49 curb appeal a little bit
04:53 and then what i didn't mention to y'all on the last video was that before i
04:59 uh put down the concrete and all that i actually had to move our irrigation
05:04 so i had to dig it up and just move the plumbing over a little bit so uh that we
05:10 wouldn't be putting concrete right on top of it so
05:13 he a girl did that too um but of course the last time i left you guys you saw
05:19 how the concrete pad turned out and it was not the same texture as the rest of
05:23 the concrete so right now in the next clip i'm going
05:27 to show you guys what we used uh to fix it uh
05:32 and the aggregate in it um like regular concrete so this
05:37 it just makes it really smooth so no big chunky rocks in this like you would find
05:42 in other concrete so again let me say for the record you guys
05:46 i am not a professional i just try stuff and sometimes it turns out good so i
05:51 share it with y'all

06:15 okay all right so i started panicking because it was too thick and it wasn't
06:28 going going smooth it splashed everywhere y'all look at me

06:40 all right you guys so what i'm about to do next is put down uh the pavers right
06:46 now i just kind of got them in place just to see how this
06:49 uh layout would look because i was trying a bunch of different things
06:53 so this is how the concrete turned out it actually did not turn out bad but i'm
06:57 not sure what is going on here i don't know if
07:02 it's still wet or if i need to go back over it
07:07 a little bit um after it rained yesterday it just
07:11 left this spot right here and and that looks terrible so
07:15 i'm not sure why i did that but other than that
07:20 okay um after i use the the layer of top creep i can't think of that flow
07:29 flow coat after i use the top layer of flow coat it actually turned out okay
07:33 um but that spot right there yeah so i don't know i have to do something about
07:36 that but right now we're about to put these pavers down the
07:39 right way which means we gotta put down some base
07:44 and some paver sand and then some polymeric sand which gets hard
07:49 um when you put it between the pavers and wet it and all that good stuff so
07:54 this is the layout i have chosen to go with and now

11:13 about my channel and just the things that i love to do
11:16 and i'm really considering just moving this
11:20 to more of a home channel just in general because i just really really
11:26 enjoy taking care of my home i really do from the yard uh to the
11:30 inside to just even sometimes just cleaning so i am
11:34 considering sharing more with you guys on just keeping up
11:39 the house not necessarily everything being a makeover if you guys are for
11:44 that then please let me know um let me know in the comments if you
11:47 would be interested in nisi taking care of home which is what
11:52 i'm considering uh calling it but yeah i just i just enjoy
11:58 it so much god has blessed me um with a great husband great family
12:02 great home and i just try to take care of everything that he blesses me with
12:06 and i just feel like it's you know it's kind of my duty as a
12:09 wife to do that but anyway um here i am doing some final touches
12:15 just installing some flowers and some shrubs that my yard
12:20 really needed i needed some color and y'all look what my husband got me
12:25 this was actually a mother's day gift this makeover took
12:28 months but he got me this tree for mother's day
12:31 um i really wanted something on the corner there just to kind of
12:34 anchor the space and he got me this really pretty legustrum that blooms
12:39 white bloom so i cannot wait uh to have it bloom but
