Dumping solar panels in landfill could be banned in Queensland

Around 750,000 Queensland homes have solar panels but as those panels age, the problem of how to dispose of them is heating up. It's feared 17,000 tonnes will end up in landfill by 2030, so the state government is proposing a ban on dumping and a boost to recycling instead.
