Dramatic footage shows the moment a runaway driver led police on a terrifying high-speed chase before he was found hiding in a POND.
Orges Hoxha, 24, failed to stop for officers who had tried to pull him over in Mansfield Woodhouse, Notts., shorty before 8.30pm on February 27 this year.
He floored the accelerator before driving off erratically and hit speeds in excess of 80mph in a 30mph zone as he desperately tried to get away.
Shocking dash-cam footage shows the Toyota Yaris dangerously driving on the opposite side of the road and overtaking other cars as traffic cops gave chase.
Hoxha, of Warsop, was jailed for ten months and banned from driving for two years at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
