Lori Poland: The Girl In The Hole

It was a warm afternoon in August of 1983 when Richard Poland went inside his home to get popsicles for his 3-year-old daughter, Lori. As he watched her from the window, a car suddenly pulled up in front of the house and Lori was snatched from their yard. The police launched a desperate search for the kidnapper, who had become known as the "candyman." Even the neighborhood kids joined the investigation to help bring Lori home safely. Meanwhile, Lori herself struggled to survive, trapped 10 feet underground in a cesspool miles away.
