Budget 2023 was retabled today, and at RM386.14 billion, it is the largest budget on record--16% bigger than the budget tabled last October. Healthcare received the second biggest allocation of the federal budget, RM36.3 billion--a slight increase from what was allocated in the budget tabled last year. Will it be enough to address the many issues affecting Malaysia’s public healthcare system?
