Man sentenced to prison for robbery and weapons offences in Milton Keynes

This is the moment Lee Mellinger attempted to rob a local convenience store in MK at knife point.

But he had not reckoned with meeting a brave shop worker, who refused to hand over money, despite being threatened.

Mellinger eventually got behind the counter and made off with just £20 from the till.

He was arrested and charged in October and has now been jailed for 8 1/2 years.
