Teams of Australian scientists researching artificial intelligence are set to receive a funding boost, courtesy of a joint initiative by the CSIRO and the USA's National Science Foundation. The researchers are investigating how A.I. works in times of crisis, such as the COVID pandemic, and how it can aid the response to the spread of disease.
