Leeds United and Manchester United faced off in a feisty match at Elland Road on Sunday, with Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho scoring late goals to give Manchester United a 2-0 victory. Rashford opened the scoring in the 85th minute with a superb header, before substitute Garnacho sealed the win five minutes from time with a clean finish from Wout Weghorst's pass.
Garnacho has been directly involved in four goals as a substitute this season in the Premier League (two goals, two assists), the most of any player. Leeds had opportunities to score but were unable to capitalize on them, leaving them in 17th place in the table, one point above the bottom three.
The result sees Manchester United move up to second place in the table, one point ahead of Manchester City who face Aston Villa later today.
