THE Waste Management Phoenix Open golf tournament was interrupted by a streaker's outrageous antics.

The tournament is being held at TPC Scottsdale in America, which houses over 17,000 fans.

However, one rowdy individual decided to get in on the action in just his UNDERWEAR before belly-flopping into the water on the course.

The hilarious incident occurred on the 17th tee on Friday.

The man burst out of the crowd and flew past security to rush the green.

He streaked straight across the course and made his way to the flag.

The individual then raised his arms and proceeded to pole dance with the flag before security raced over.

However, that was not the end of his antics.

The man, who had “19th hole” written on his back - which appeared to be a reference to another streaker at The Open Championship at St Andrew's back in 1995 - outmaneuvered the staff.

And he proceeded to run straight over to a pond on the course and belly-flopped straight into it.

However, despite laughter erupting around the area, AZSports later tweeted a picture of the streaker in handcuffs.

Golf’s Phoenix Open will finish on Sunday.

Last year’s winner Scottie Scheffler is on top at 10 under par.

He is currently two strokes ahead of Adam Hadwin and Jon Rahm.
